Castro Verde Camping

A short walk into Castro Verde town campsite is quite full and a few look like long termers the young lady at reception was very friendly and spoke English, the showers and toilets look very clean but we have our own facilities onboard. Seems quite at night. We pardon
€10.50 inc electric 2 people one night large 8.6 mtr Motorhome.

Site within walking distance of town, pitches are nominally a sort of concrete lattice floor which are quite big enough to put out an awning. They are sloped but ramps will level you out. If this isn't for you, there is a grassed area to the rear of the site. Electricity and water are available throughout the site but WiFi doesn't reach to the grass areas. Toilets, showers wash rooms, all immaculate. There is a laundry, residents day room with a microwave oven, washing room for dishes with hot water, The site is very dog friendly but there is a plant there that leaves small spiked seed pods which can get into their paws. Simple to remove but unpleasant for the dog if they tread on them (or us..don't go out without footwear!) This is one of the best sites we have used in Europe, yes, Europe. Highly recommended.

Great campsite with good size pitches, good facilities, clean and spacious, walking distance to centre and very close to municipal swimming pool

We have been cycling and camping now for three months. This is one of our best experiences yet. Clean, great amenities, covered sitting area plus an indoor area with tables and chairs, microwave, kettle, large tv. Plenty of shade and the cheapest price yet! Only criticism is that the lights around and in the amenity block are on all night which seems such a waste of energy and not very environmentally friendly.

Prices are very reasonable. Easily accessible from motorway. Shaded and part shaded pitches. marked and unmarked pitches. Showers are amongst the best I have experienced so far. Some road noise but tolerable. English speaking staff. Shopping and fuel nearby. Excellent. Recommended.

Excellent park, great conditions, even though the prices are quite low. It's a small place, but it has very great things that are necessary. There is no place for barbecue, but at least the bathrooms and showers have good conditions and are taken care of with great quality, specially now with the new rules in place. Problem is, people there don't go to the bathroom with a mask on, but that's disrespecting the rules of the park, which makes a great effort to keep everyone safe from catching Covid-19.

Excellent place. Value for money. EHU. Waste disposal. Service area. Good WiFi. Excellent showers and toilet area. Friendly staff. €10 with EHU. Well worth a visit and we will go back again. Easy walk into town. All amenities close by.
