Solar do Moinho

We went here on a Sunday, because of the Sunday buffet. Traditional Portuguese food and lots of it. You start with starters, a wide range of cheeses, salads, cold sausages, coleslaw, fruit salads, pasta salads, breads & soups. After that there are a wide range of hot foods, everything from pork, chicken, goat, beef, fish, various different potato dishes & vegetables. If you've saved enough room, the dessert table will surely blow your mind, about 20+ different types of dessert. Drinks include water, wine, beer, juice and plenty of others.
There's even live music to enjoy. We paid 17 euros a head, which I think is great value for money.
Buffet opens at 12 on Sundays and fills up quickly, so be sure to be there close to 12 if you want a table.

Sunday Buffet of the very highest standard with an extensive range of salads, main courses and desserts with unlimited local wine/soft drinks and a coffee included at all inclusive €17.50 for adults (Nov20) with concessions for children. Service is excellent with a special effort made to make non Portuguese speakers welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended but sometimes busy so book on their Facebook page in advance during holidays. 100% Covid aware and secured in all aspects of food and drink service.

They were about to close, but as we were about to leave they greeted us and insisted us to come in and eat what they had available. Great service, amazing food and wonderful people! If your in the area I suggest you make a stop.

Great service. They were closed but opened up the kitchen to serve us late at night: we were the only 3 people there, and were treated like kings.

Awesome place with a all you can eat delicious food... Traditional dishes included!! A must!

Almoço de buffet,com variedade de queijos, enchidos, saladas, entradas, pratos de peixe e carne com variedade de acompanhamentos. Mesa de doces espetacular 😁, staff sempre atento às mesas para ir levantando a loiça. Adorei 😍

as pessoas são 5 estrelas e a comida também. dobrada, sopa de peixe, salada de polvo foram os melhores pratos apesar de haver muito mais com qualidade e quantidade. fui num domingo e era buffet. aconselho.

Restaurante solar com buffet aos domingos. Comida caseira, atendimento simpático. Preços acolhedores. Fazem festas casamento, etc. Menu do dia com sopa, bebida, prato, sobremesa e café 9,50 €
