Very traditional restaurant right in the middle of Açor mountain region, village of Fajão. Very good quality meals, spiced and cooked in traditional ways, causing a very good environment with extraordinary view over the valley!

Excellent food and service. We struggled a bit with the menu, but the staff and owner was super helpful and accommodating. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. Each meal would easily feed two people. Loved it.

Went there for a Chanfana, a slow cook dish based on a adult goat stew. It was excellent. Nice and pleasant service, very good price. Don't know about the other dishes, though.

Amazing family-run restaurant in a very pretty schist village nestled in a valley in the mountain range close to Coimbra. Very tasty cheese and squash jam for starter and then javali (wild boar). Good service and very popular (a good sign!). The journey there is spectacular!

Este restaurante fica a 40min de Piódão e vale cada curva fechada na beira do precipício que fazemos para lá chegar.
Pratos muito bem servidos
A comida é de chorar por mais, a melhor chanfana que já provei na vida! (Na fotografia mostra apenas meia dose) E o cabrito é de chorar por mais. Também pedimos costeleta de novilho, que não provei, mas dde à acordo com a minha mãe estava perfeita.
As sobremesas também estavam deliciosas
Mas o melhor foi o atendimento do Sr Carlos.
Preciso muuuuuito voltar para comer o javali e maranho!

Fomos à descoberta, inspirados pelas referências aqui deixadas por outros clientes. Um espaço escondido entre ruelas estreitas e tortuosas, mas que valeu cada minuto da viagem! Pela amabilidade e atenção do proprietário e restantes colaboradores, e sobretudo pela qualidade dos pratos. Comida tradicional, genuína. Tudo uma delícia! Excelente relação qualidade/preço.
Voltaremos, seguramente.

É um pequeno restaurante com um serviço familiar muito eficiente e simpático. Tem uma boa oferta de pratos regionais e bons vinhos. A comida é saborosa e muito bem confeccionada. O serviço é exemplar apesar da grande afluência de clientes que o espaço tem. A localização na aldeia é perfeita e dá-lhe um enquadramento muito especial. O preço é justo. As doses são muito grandes pelo que recomendo pedir meia dose.

Comida maravilhosa. O cabrito é de chorar por mais, o maranho ( comida típica da região) uma maravilha. Sr. Carlos uma simpatia assim como o resto do pessoal. Paragem obrigatória para quem venha a Fajão.
