I can’t say enough good things about Wonder Van! It is well worth the money. My friends and I booked the seven hour tour that took us to all of the main sights in Sintra.

Tomas was friendly, very knowledgeable and provided a fantastic experience. He took us to an amazing, local, roadside food spot he for lunch, which just added a special, local element to the tour. He also provided us with a great list of local restaurants and bars to check out in Lisbon.

Riding around in a jeep was a great way to see Sintra. We covered a lot of places and couldn’t have done it all if we hadn’t taken the tour, especially going out to see the westernmost point of continental Europe. The drive was fun and we went to a spot without any other people which made it so serene.

If you want to have a great experience while in Sintra, book one of these tours!

Ask for Tomas Silva- we spent the day in Sintra and did a Jeep tour - what a great experience! The view was incredible and we really would not have been able to see that much on our own- plus he sent us tips and ideas of Lisbon- because they do that too.

We booked a private tour of Sintra on February 10th. I would say this is one of the best decisions that I made!
Alexandre Souza is our tour guide/driver of the tour. He possessed extensive knowledge of Portuguese History, allowing delve into the various cultures of the region!
I appreciate his hardworking and enthusiastic service , which made the day trip very meaningful.
If you are a food lover, you should ask Alexandre for the restaurant! He recommended us a very good restaurant with affordable price !

We booked a private tour of Sintra, and Tomas was our delightful guide for a group of 10. The tour was well paced, lots of information & great photos, good tips for both during the tour & later in the trip. He took us to an *amazing* informal lunch stop with a wood fired oven, Pao Saloio - if it's open on the day of your tour, you will be so happy you went! Tomas had a great personality & knows so much about his city! I hope you have a great tour with him. :-)

Great tour of Sinta and area by Andre. He was nice and easy to talk to. He didn’t have a specific itinerary and let us select what we wanted.

Wow, we really had the best day! Private Wonders of Sintra, Rocas e Cascais tour with Alexandre Souza. He knows the stories, the history, the mysteries! Visit Sintra and Regaleira in December and hardly any waiting lines. Do recommend Wonder Van Tours and Alexandre.

This was honestly a life changing experience. THOMAS is so amazing!!!!! He is so intelligent, passionate, kind, and patient. He explains everything and really takes the time to get to know the group. He is a history major so it was awesome talking to him about the history of Portugal and the significance of the places we visited. I cannot stress enough how you NEED to book a tour with THOMAS— honestly, it will change your life.

We had an excellent experience using Wonder Van to tour Sintra for the day. The moment we met Tomás we realized just how passionate he was about what he does and the love he has for his hometown of Sintra. He was very personable and is local so his expertise of different landmarks and areas was second to none! He takes a lot of pride in what he does and it showed. I would recommend this tour to anybody! Already looking to book next year with family that could not come on this trip.

We had an amazing day on our tour with our guide Rafael (Johnny Depp), the Jeep tour took us in areas not possible for other vehicles to access. Rafael was very knowledgeable and guided us thru the history of the area and attractions in a very entertaining manner. We would highly recommend Wonder Van especially with Rafael.

What a great tour. From the time we first spoke to the owner/manager (never got her name) to the actual jeep tour with Andre—it was a wonderful experience. He combined the usual Sintra sites with some amazingly beautiful natural sites. Andre was patient, funny and knowledgeable. He also seemed to know everyone in town. As a final note he encouraged us to visit Cascais. We did and it was everything he promised. We would highly recommend Wondervan without reservation!

Amazing Tour and Amazing Guide!

Tomas was an excellent guide for our tour. We discussed what we wanted to do for the day and made adjustments throughout the day. As a local, he provided more details and stories than you can imagine. The van was also very nice. I highly recommend Wonder Van and Tomas!

Today we did this excursion with Paolo and he was an exceptional host. We asked him about a million questions about the history of sintra, and he was so detailed and knowledgeable. He was hilarious, it made the day so incredibly fun. The sites were breathtaking and we felt like it was so much more than a typical excursion, but a personal and well thought out adventure from locals themselves who care deeply about their costumers experience. This was by far the best excursion we’ve been on in Europe and would recommend it to anyone.

Just had a tour yesterday (6/2/23) with Henrique. First of all, I arrived 1 hour early.....at the wrong location. Duarte at Wonder BIKES contacted Ana and they both made sure I arrived at the 1st destination with the group and I didn't miss a beat. Henrique was absolutely AMAZING. Good English was superb!! He handled our tour with the most compassion I've ever experienced. I could immediately tell that he truly cares for people, that he takes pride in his job, and that he truly loves Sintra, history, and showing others his world. The tour was a wonderful combination of touristy and discreet. He allowed the group to decide how to navigate thru the end of the tour, be accommodated practically every need and made sure each person felt included. He wasn't robotic. I felt like I knew him my whole life. Our group was small, yet diverse and he was knew little random facts about each person home country. It was very personable. We all arrived as strangers but left as friends. I can truly say that. If I EVER come back to Sintra, for starters I know where to report (lol) and 2, I'm booking with Wonder Van again and I specifically will ask for Henrique!

Awesome tour with or great guide....Andre I believe his name was? Took us off the beaten path and showed us areas we never would have seen otherwise!

We had an amazing tour in Lisbon with our guide LUIS and the day was more than interesting and pleasant with him (despite the difficult weather conditions).
We visited a lot of places, hear nice info and had time to see, take pictures and discuss.
Luis is a kind and interesting person, very experienced in Lisbon and he helped us very much by suggesting us destinations and things to do for the rest of our trip.
Wish we see him again for another tour (in Sintra this time with the Jeep) as we discussed!
