Great value for money. Best steaks we had in Portugal. We ordered the Rubia, Wagyu and the Secreto. Not sure Wagyu was real, but all were made to perfection. Got fries, rice and salad included. Super tasty. Very friendly staff. Reasonable price. Definitely recommended.

I eat out a lot, always looking for the good stuff and this is it. Fantastic food and service. I'm not going to get into a ton of details as others have done that for you. Make a reservation, or stop in on a whim and pray. Try the homemade alcohol at the end of the meal. I bought some to bring home. Moonshine time. Get in your car and go eat, you won't regret it! Heaven!

I tried this place finally despite the rain today. Thank you, nice waiter, for speaking English. I will one day learn Portuguese. The restaurant was quite busy when I arrived just after two in the afternoon while it was wet and misty. They say the rain is much needed, but it sure is tough getting around when it's wet everywhere.

I had I think he said it was the national aged steak, which came with rice and beans, French fries, and a garlic and mashed bread thing (which I didn't eat too much of since one can't have too much gluten!). They also gave me bread and olives. The steak was really yummy, and, of course, this Asian finished every kernel of rice.

I'm definitely going back because it was yummy!

Great place for meat lovers! It’s a cozy restaurant on the side of a road and if you don’t know about it, you maybe wouldn’t notice it at first. However, it is a must try if you are in the Alcobaça region! It’s very popular so it is recommended to make a reservation. We tried all three different steaks, and loved all of them. The starters were very nice too. The staff is friendly and explains about the different cuts. We’ve been here twice already and definitely going to come back in the future!

It small and cute, be careful it's full most of the time. The food is nice, meat and side dishes. The service is really good and the bathrooms clean a big plus.

This place has the best fried chicken, steaks and much more and the food is seasoned well as cooked to perfection. I recommend it to everyone don't miss this treat. It's a must to make reservations.

Fabulous beef! Very nice place, friendly staff, superb steaks. You choose the type of beef you want from a choice of local beef or Wagyu or another very marbled beef. There is also pork available. They cut your beef, weigh it then it is cooked on the charcoal grill. Just superb. Entrees are cheese, prosciutto, grilled chorizo, morcilla with rice. Generous servings!

Food was very good, especially for the price. The staff was very nice and the service was excellent.
I would guess the Wagyu was not real Japanese Wagyu but it was still very good, perfectly done and was not priced like Wagyu.

Really really tender meat. Great spices on the meat, lovely staff, and ambience. The place itself looks like an old Portuguese warehouse (basically a barn) repurposed into a restaurant, so it has a rustic feel and look to it. Definitely recommend.

Best meat in the region. Either beef or pork. Really good spices and 100% recommend the Morcela and Chouriço as appetizers too.

Evening family meal. Softest most flavoursome steak in a long while. Chocos Setubalense are a delight. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
