Great service, with a fabulous ambiance, that matches the deliciously flavorful local cuisine. The Fried Goat Cheese was accompanied with a red wine reduction, and honey that really set the stage. The octopus rice was by far my favorite, succulent pieces of octopus with beautifully fragrant rice, tied with the spicy sauce on the side, was absolutely everything! And a glass of the house red Doro wine was definitely a must try when in Portugal! I enjoyed this place so much that I returned 3 times!Thank you!! I will definitely be back!

If coming in 2, order the Wellington beef, no mistake, it comes with sautéed veggies and chips (which are a bit heavy on oil), but the meat taste great!!

This place is a local little treasure, and a great surprise to have stumbled upon on our family trip! Extremely tasty Portuguese food with very reasonable pricing. Our server Guillermo was a godsent, he explained the entire menu in English with a lot of details and was sure to even make special requests happen. Thank you for your lovely hospitality Guillermo! Other than that, the ambience of the restaurant is cozy and homely without much fuss, which we loved! Would definitely come back to this little gem if we had the chance. Pictures don't demonstrate the food beautifully because we couldn't wait for food photography haha. Their inked rice is definitely recommended!

This is a great neighborhood cafe with delicious cake and coffee. We had the homemade apple crumble and it’s absolutely devine! Will definitely be back for their other food. We saw other customers cleaned up their plates. Need I say more?

A rustic mix of ‘grandmas kitchen’ local cuisine combined with a modern twist. You feel at home immediately as Guilerhme invites you in. The simple but well balanced flavours make each dish a wonder to indulge in. Warm, comfort foods, well presented with minimal fanfare at a reasonable price. You can’t ask for more. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.

I loved the food here and the server was super kind!!! We just happened to find this place on the way to Ajuda palace and never expected this level of cuisine!! I'm sure that it's a must visit place!!

I'm sorry, I didn't take a picture of the partridge pie before eating it. It was too delicious. Eleven points out of ten! But. They always overcook the duck, ask them not to overcook it! This is a great dish with a mix of rice, seeds and all sorts of delicious little things, I highly recommend it!

Had an amazing dinner here. The service was some of the best I’ve experienced in the city. Our waiter Guilherme was super friendly and explained the dishes with a passion that made me excited to eat everything.

Eating at this restaurant was a taste sensation and comes highly recommended, especially for seafood fans! As a German tourist who is not familiar with Portuguese cuisine, every dish was explained to me in English by the very friendly service. For the main course, I chose the octopus rice, which, like the side dishes, really impressed me. If I'm in Lisbon again, I will definitely come back to this restaurant to enjoy the local cuisine.

The flavors here are amazing! The steak, perfectly cooked. Tender, juicy and covered in a delicious garlic infused sauce. Perfecto!

A nice little place that serves traditional Portuguese food. Everything was nice and fresh and there was more then enough. Price wise it was very decent. And they provided cutlery to share dishes without even asking.

Amazing gem far from vibrant coastal line. The food is perfectly good. The octopus was the most tender I have ever tried in my life.
The service is super polite and helpful they will tell you in details about every menu position and recommend smth you are up to and a good pairing.
Caprihinja is one of two cocktails they have but one must try it.

A lovely evening meal sat outside on the quiet square.
As English speakers, we struggled to understand the menu as it is only in Portuguese, but our waiter was extremely helpful and lovely with helping us choose the best dishes. We went for the fried goats cheese, the bread and olive oil, the tomato soup and the breaded omelet as the main dish.
The menu is made up of small tapas style starters and mains. Plenty to choose from and very large portions. We chose two small and one large for two of us and it was plenty.
The highlight was our server though. So friendly and great with our son.

We stumbled upon this restaurant after a hearty recommendation from a nearby olive oil tasting shop and I’m so glad we went. It is up the top of a big hill but the food is tasty and the staff are outstanding. They were very patient and explained every dish in English for us, and also gave us great ideas for what to have. We especially loved the pica-pau and the bochecha. The portions are very generous, and we shared everything. We probably only needed 3 starters because there was so much food. Definitely brace the hill and come here when in Belem.

That was a super pleasant discovery! The place is simple and cozy - as a tasca should be. The food, however, it's not like it should be in a tasca, because they take it up a notch. Nice place, nice vibes, super gentle staff, definitely a place I'll revisit.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Exceptional service and such tasty food! Excellent value. Everything we had was delicious, from all the starters to the duck and the carob mousse dessert.

By far the best food in Lisboa. We're coming back for more. A must stop if your in the neighborhood.
