Love it! One grandpa waiter is soooooo cute and friendly. We communicate through google and he writes me in Portuguese. Shrimp rice is simply awesome (One pot is pretty enough for 2 persons) . Strongly recommended! It goes well with spicy oil on the table. Tiramisu with latte completes the meal.

We were lucky enough to make it to sardine season!! They are a must. Everything is delicious and the environment makes you feel like you are right at home. Great place to get away from the crowds and have memorable food.

Very nice traditional restaurant, we came here by accident by taking the wrong bus, it was filled with locals and very busy and we decided to give it a try. The food was very tasty and the staff was very polite and helpful. Both plates we got were very tasty and if you are a tourist you must try their ginja !!

We really enjoyed this food, one of the best traditional Portuguese foods, we dined with locals and tourists. Portions were generous and tasty, we had dinner here twice. Both times we had: Roasted chicken (frango churrasco)and fries were great and the Bitoque vaca ovo (beef with egg in a sauce) was fantastic! I go back to the US craving this dish. After walking miles and miles up hill, we felt rewarded with this food! Prices are also affordable.

Typical Portuguese style "tasco". The portion sizes are huge, the food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. I had the bitoque steak dish, and was positively surprised by how tender the meat was, and with the creaminess of the sauce. Perfection 👌🏻

The beef with special sauce blew our minds! The food overall was really great. Service was a bit slow as it was done by an elderly man, but he was compassionate and kind, so we enjoyed our overall experience!

Hole in the wall chicken spot that did hit the spot. Peri peri chicken was crispy on outside and moist in the inside. Also got the ribs which were delicious. Even the 2 euro cheese appetizer was good. Would go again.

Well, it's the best Frango in the world! What else can be said?! Simple succulent frango. To die for.

Strongly recommend for someone who wants to taste real Portugal. If you can't decide what to order - ask for recommendation :) We were only tourists that time in that place. Food just brilliant! Prices lowest I experienced in Portugal! 32 € for 4 people, each had a main dish, soup and few drinks ;)

It’s a traditional Portuguese restaurant don’t expect fine dining but food is amazing and are great value! The servers are helpful with recommendations. Had salad, chicken plate and cod fish. The cod fish bacalhau dish is quite unique as it’s been dried / salted, interesting taste when eaten with olives / potatoes

Great local food, fish and meat grilled on charcoal. Super nice friendly service. Very good prices, great value! Will definitely come back soon.

We loved it so much here that we came back twice for lunch from Baixa. We had grilled chicken with fries and salad both times. The chicken is juicy and flavourful. Service can be fast and slow depending on the time; however, the servers are very nice and friendly. It is truly a local spot. It's also within walking distance to the Ajuda Botanical Garden and Palace.

We found this location because of all the good reviews and we were not dissapointed.

The food is really good and prices are absolutley ok. They have a big charcoal grill and they know how to use it. :)

We had starters, lots of drinks, main course for 3 adults and dessert and coffee and paid less then 50 EUR and on top of that you even get a friendly staff and good service.

And all that for quality food that was tasty and delicous. If you are in Lisboa make sure to visit this place. We will come back!

We walked up from the monastery, and it is well worth the climb. The food is great, the staff is amazing. It does not want to be more than it is: just a great place for a great meal.

You must stop here! It’s a no fuss, come as you are dining experience. It was great to feel like you were a tourist nestled upon locals but provided equally great service. We ordered a full chicken and it was a 10/10! Delicious taste throughout, crispy outside and every bite was flavourful. Portions were very generous for the price. We received this as a recommendation from a cooking instructor and are so happy we stopped.

We asked a local in a bar where to eat and this is where she sent us.
It was awesome. We loved the atmosphere and the waiters were great.
The food was so tasty. It was all pretty simple but delicious and so much of it for so little money.
We had such a great experience that we went back 2 nights later with some extra people and it was just as fabulous. We had to wait for a little while outside but we were able to buy beers and drink them outside while we waited.
Definitely recommended.
