Fabulous authentic Portuguese food. The camel drool pudding was amazingly good, and the baked apple was excellent.

We were looking for a place for lunch on the way from the Royal Treasury and discovered this restaurant by chance. Turned out to be the best restaurant experience in Lisbon! :-) We ate a three course meal, consisting of the veggie soup, fish and a dessert. The service was excellent and value for money unbeatable. In addition, we were in a hurry and the service managed to squeeze into our tight schedule. If you are in the area I highly recommend this place! You can get a bit of a local cuisine experience, as it is not as overfilled with tourists as some other places.

The little restaurant has local charme and serves delicious homemade food, we had Pastel de Bacalhau with nicely spiced rice, the pastels were fine in taste and texture, the best we had so far. The white wine was tasty too. The people of the restaurant were very kind to us, and made the evening memorable.

We celebrated a birthday; we ordered Bacalhau à Brás, Camarão à lá Guilho, a variety of pastries (pastéis) and a dessert, Sawdust. We finished off the gravy from the camarão dish and it was yummy! The Bacalhau was very good with a balanced taste and attractive portions. The friendly service was a boon! We will definitely come again.

A perfect little homey place for a great meal. We stopped in for lunch after visiting the Palace and loved it! The menus were in Portuguese only, so the friendly waiter helped us by scrolling through photos of the dishes on his phone 😆. We had chicken, steak, and cod, all fantastic with great sauces.

Very authentic, quiet, cozy place, a few minutes walk from the main tourisic area. We visited about a year ago, and had a great time there. We had the Bacalhau à Brás, and Bife au Molho de Mostarda for lunch, and Baba de camello as desert. Everything was delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices very reasonable. The service was great; the staff is very friendly and welcoming. It totally worth a visit if you're looking for good local food.

We had house wine, bacalhau a bras and batatas. The food was amazing and we can definitely recommend it. We will come again soon! Really enjoyed our dinner and also got a little dessert :)

Absolute gem, small neigborhood restaurant with superbly warm and nice service, authentic local feeling and amazing food. Prawns were amongst the best I've had anywhere in the world and all other dishes were stunning too. Loved the staff also, prices are extremely affordable. If you are around this area, this restaurant should be de facto lunch/dinner place for you.

Very nice little restaurant with a view of the Ocean (if you sit outside). The service was great they helped us to find vegetarian dishes. Can truly recommend!

It was so good. The desserts were so good that I forgot to do a photo of it before.. 😃😃😃 and the food just everything.. 🤤 And also the waitress was so nice to us! Please go here if you are searching for some local food. We will eat here again.

All dishes we ordered are yummy, including the bread that we forgot to capture on camera. Good service and friendly atmosphere too. I highly recommend this place!

Husband and I ate here for lunch and it was the best experience. The food was made fresh. The gentlemen gave his recommendations and they were spot on. This is a must stop!

Had excellent salmon steak and tuna salad. Plus it's nice location if you are after some tram pics, a line passing by 2m away! Friendly staff too. Can highly recommend it!

cute little quaint spot. we just got off a red eye flight from NYC + were starved. luckily stumbled upon this spot in the neighborhood. everything was delicious + service was top notch! we did not so much research before coming to lisbon combined with lack of sleep/ hunger, we were having such a hard time figuring out what to get. the staff is incredibly sweet + helpful. perfect quick no frills but high quality lunch. would def come back!

This place was absolutely perfect! The food was cooked with Love. You could tell how much they cared about your experience there. I will be going back at least one more time before I leave. Food was so good I only took pictures of the appetizers 😔

Really appreciative of the staff making something vegetarian. Many of the options that look vegetarian actually contain fish which is common in many Portuguese restaurants. For those who do eat meat or fish the menu looked very good. The service was great.

Excellent experience here. Especially if you’re looking for something more quiet and local. The food was amazing and the service was even better. So friendly and kind, and the price was right for sure. Would definitely return!

Quaint place on the way back from palace. Donovan was a great server and gave us good feedback on the menu. So we got the best of their menu. Only the cars speeding by detracted from the atmosphere but to be expected on their outdoor seating.
