Marieta's Café. Padaria...pastelaria. Fabrico proprio

This place was shockingly delicious. I’ve never seen and tasted so many outrageous pastries all under one roof. And it is obscenely cheap. The chocolate croissants are the size of one’s head. The coffee was the perfect compliment to the sweet treats we experienced here everyday that we stayed in this area. It is counter service and very casual. Usually a small line. They spoke little English but were very friendly. Some minimal seating inside, and lots outside. Clean bathrooms. Ice cream was also available. Once you go the first time, expect to return many times thereafter if you are in the area.

The best Bolinhas I’ve had in the whole area! Marieta‘s has a huge variety of different cream flavors and I especially fell in love with the hazelnut one (Avelã!!) it’s so so good.

Do not stop here if you are watching your waistline. The pastries look superb. Coffee is good and there is a nice small area outside for you to sit, I would call it a garden but you'd have to use your imagination !!! Really good great and rolls on sale here and as for the doughnuts, my god grey are great !!

The most memorable bolinhas dos Carlos. The best. They sell these at the beaches. There are more flavours available in the shop. Wow!

The cakes in this bakery are the best! Such a huge variety and the value for money is incredible. Coming from the UK, one of these cakes would typically cost £3-£6 but I can buy 4-5 different cakes here for less than 10 euro! So dangerous but soooo good 😍

Good sweet pastry options and the “bolas de Berlim do Carlos” that I wanted. Not hot from the factory, but this is the closest that someone can be to that experience. Btw, the factory is close but only opens at 9pm. Congratulations for the staff and company, keep it up!

Stopped for a bite to eat on the way to Faro airport. Nice coffee, great selection of cakes and ice creams. Didn't have anything cooked. Plenty of inside and outside seating. The whole restaurant was very clean and we'll presented. Would definitely go again. Please note - you need to place your order at the counter then find a table where your food will be brought to you.

It's pleasant to have breakfast in the patio. The service is always friendly and fast. I really love their pizza!

Excelent quality at normal prices. If you like good bread and pastry it is a place you don't want to miss out. A regular spot (in a good way) focusing on the right things. Great press and pastry!!
