Adega Mayor

What a wonderful moment I had to visit Adega Mayor! One of the most appreciated winery in Portugal, known for producing high-quality wines that showcase the region's rich terroir. Their wines produced with love and care reflects a perfect balance of traditional winemaking and modern techniques, creating a unique and memorable experience for wine enthusiasts. I really suggest a visit to taste and feel the wonderful moments that this region and specially Adega Mayor can offer to those who enjoy good moments in their lives!

Amazing architecture (Siza Vieira) - inside you can find a shop wine.

Amazing wine tasting and very interesting explanation about the history of the company and its founder. Our guide has been very competent. An experience I definitely recommend.

A must if you are near Campo Maior.

It was really pleasure to visit Adega Mayor. The building is so simple and yet such a nice blend to the sorroundings. The guided tour was really good and I recommend it as well as the tasting of wines. Don't forget to visit the shop ;).

Fantastic experience, love the commented visit, learn a lot of the wine production, good wine tasting, and of course, as an architect, love love the building. A white architecture temple protecting the wine spirits.

Very interesting and pleasant tour, with wine tasting (which was also very tasty). The whole building is a masterpiece, specially the rooftop.

We were curious to visit this winery that was designed and built by the famous architect Siza Vieira for Rui Nabeiro, the owner of Delta Cafes. This wine cellar produces different kinds of wine and during or visit with Mafalda, we've tried some of them, Caiado rose 2017, Reserva do Comendador 2014 and Touriga nacional 2016. All the 3 were really powerful in the mouth, but in particular the Touriga Nacional, just an AMAZING structured wine... perfect for a good meat dish.
At the end we bought several bottles at the store but I wanted to bring some to Barcelona, unfortunately I couldn't... lets see if next time I can...

Visitei com a minha noiva com a degustação de vinhos e tapas que foi qualquer coisa inesquecível com uma vista desafogada para a vinha já depois de mergulhar na história da Adega que nos foi contada com paixão por quem nos fez a visita. Vale a pena visitar

A nossa experiência foi o Workshop vínico, que inclui visita e prova de vinhos tintos e brancos. Visita bem conduzida e com informação bem prestada. Óptima preparação da prova de vinhos com boas explicações e informaçoes sobre a degustação dos mesmos. Sem dúvida que merece a visita.

A Adega pertencente a Família e grupo Nabeiro iniciada pelo seu chefe de Família o Comendador Rui Nabeiro falecido recentemente, um Homem adorado por todos com um coração do tamanho do mundo.
Produtor de Excelentes vinhos, alguns medalhados.
Um excelente staff sempre pronto a dar atenção e informações sobre os seus vinhos, azeites e vinagres balsâmicos.
Adorei a visita.
