Restaurante O Mirandês

An amazing experience! I was the only vegetarian in the group and when asked if there were any options for me (a simple salad would suffice), the staff promptly arranged a wonderful meal! Everyone was so nice and thoughtful. My family also enjoyed their codfish and steak very much. A must try!

We're vegetarian and we thought we were only going to eat yet another omelette and then we were presented with this beauty. It was perfect food! It's not on the menu so you have to ask for it. The only downside was the waiting time because the restaurant was packed! But it is totally worth it!!

Incredibly generous portion sizes of tasty regional cuisine. The menu is simple: one meat page, one fish page. Special highlight: I'm vegan and went with my family, who wanted to eat steak and cod. When I asked if they would consider whipping something up, it was no problem at all. In Spain I would have expected overpriced parillada de verduras. Here, I was served a wonderful garbanzo puree and sauteed vegetables dish. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and I have leftovers for 2 days.

Friendly staff, excellent food paired with a charming atmosphere. This package made a great lunch for me and my wife.
Don’t expect Haute cuisine but very honest and traditional food.

A great place to dine. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! We told the waitress that I was vegetarian and as they didn't have any main dishes that would suit, they made something for me and it was great. The waitress was lovely!! So warm, welcoming and kind. They speak 4 languages: Spanish, Portuguese, English and French. A wonderful place to eat!!

Good. Bacalao a la mirandesa was delicious and the jug of vino verde for 4 bucks is a bargain,highly recommended.went back the following evening was even better recommend the garlic prawns.

Just go for the local steak and let it melt in your mouth. Definitely a 5/5 rating and the white wine of the house is for sure worth a few euros!

Veal was delicious

Es la segunda vez que como aquí, está todo riquísimo, las raciones son más que generosas y precio está muy bien.
Tomamos el bacalao al horno, la costilla y ensalada. La tarta de naranja, riquísima

Comida deliciosa e com ingredientes frescos. Pedimos um bacalhau dourado e uma posta Mirandesa. Tudo chegou muito rápido. O vinho de pressão da casa estava também muito bom. De sobremesa pedimos um bolo de amêndoas e uma torta de queijo, os dois muito bem servidos e saborosos.
