The Grill

Went there on a Tuesday on purpose to try the famous Chanfana. It was great! Very well prepared and very tasty.
The staff was very nice. We went at lunch time and everything was very fast, even having a full room.
Extra mention to the bread, that it was awesome.
Going back there for sure :-)

Always busy at lunch time but the service and food are excellent value for the modest price. We had large portions of bacalhau in a cream sauce, salad, fresh rustic bread and olives together with beer and wine, expresso coffee and a port wine for a total of 14 euros

Very authentic Portuguese. Massive portions so offer for 2 with the main meals unless very very hungry. The Chafana stew is incredibly meaty and rich, not like UK stew with just meat and no veg.

Extremely nice staff, really professional and fast. The food was great and not expensive. It also looks really good inside. Totally recommend!

Only downfall chairs are so. Uncomfortable. They could have cushions on them.

Меню не разочарует, блюда простые и очень вкусные.
Я пробовал тут шанфану (chanfana) - тушеная в красном вине козлятина, и она мне очень понравилась. Порции не оставят голодным.
Домашнее вино тоже очень хорошее, десерты не ошеломляют, но вполне на уровне.

Возможно стоит бронировать столик заранее.

Para experimentar a Chanfana acho que é o lugar ideal. Desde o serviço até à comida é topo. Ideal reserva, muito concorrido e percebese a razão. A repetir 😁👍
