Wow Salgáboca! For an upper tier dining experience this is the spot. Near the beach, comfortable atmosphere and excellent food and service. We enjoyed a 4 kilo Robalo (Sea Bass) that we selected from their ice table display. It was more thank plenty for our table of 9. The preparation and presentation of the meal were excellent. From the appetizers to the dessert, the staff was attentive and efficient. I have to say the Natas De Ceu was bay far the best I’ve ever had. It was the epitome of the definition of this dessert. “Cream of the Sky (heaven)”. Tasted like a piece of heaven. Really amazing experience. The fresh fish selection can be a bit pricey, but for this once in a lifetime experience the cost was all worth it. If you are looking for good food and and a great experience and are willing to spend a bit more than usual then I believe you will enjoy this restaurant. Highly Recommend!

I would like to thank you for the wonderful hospitality and delicious food which made the year end worth enjoyable. I must mention that all the arrangements were done perfectly and thanks to you and your professional staff.
I so appreciated your kindness by adjusting your pre defined / set meal only for me which came to me as surprise while enjoying my food. Initially when I was booking my table, your staff ( if i remember correctly his name is Joao) asked me about food allergies and we had a talk about this and I informed him not to worry since I can skip 1 or 2 items from the huge list. But your staff including your chef took additional responsibility to take care of me and my food allergies. I was emotionally touched by the individual attention. Moreover during the service your staff including head chef came several times to check whether everything went fine or not. I am really touched by overall experience. Food was really good. I am very happy that restaurant choice was perfect specially when you are traveling alone to unknown place, where you don't know anyone and people like you are giving the comfort so that solo traveler like me will feel like to visit again.

The beautiful interior and the atmosphere of the main restaurant round off the delicious high-quality food and good service. We were setting on a terrace with glass roof to enjoy our dinner.

We've been here a few times and the service and food never disappoint. Amazing flavour, prompt friendly service and beautiful atmosphere. We will return time and time again.

Second time I've been to Salgaboca and both times I have nothing but positive things to say. The waiter today made our experience unforgettable. He suggested us the Cantaril fish, which we had never eaten and served it on our plates just as we're supposed to eat it. Extremely chatty and friendly. The food was delicious both times. And the esplanada is pleasant. Will definitely be returning for a third time!

This is one of the best restaurants in the area. The location is excellent with top notch service and really good food. We travel often and can appreciate when something is truly good. We highly recommend this restaurant near the beach in Praia de Mira.

As tourists we loved this restaurant very much. The service was very profesional. The fish was fresh, the food and wine was great! We didn't wait too much. We also asistat to a litle bit of live fado singing , not a profesional singer but a good one. We round out it was an employee. A great place for a tourist.

Best restaurant in town... fish, wine, meat, soup, desert, customer service .... it never goes wrong... the fish is absolutly a must have though, you wont be disappointed
