Parque Urbano Penhas do Marmeleiro

A gorgeous and well-maintained trail that burrows deep into the Cascais-Sintra municipality. You can hike or bike for hours while taking in constantly changing views and vistas.

Amazing place for a hike. Can't recommend this enough for a day with the family.

This park has spectacular has a viewpoint with espectacular views to the valley. The wooden walkway was restored recently providing a safe and convenient to access it. Nearby there is a wooden fort for the kids delight.

Amazing place to relax, enjoy the nature and feel good. And it's really near to Lisbon.

So close to Cascais but feels far away from civilization. Even better outside the summer months as the stream is still flowing

Awesome sightseeing of hills, besides a nice children's park.

For the hikers out there, this is a great place to park and hike down the Valley. This is somewhat midway on the Trilla das Vinhas which is the valley trail starting in Quinta do Pisao and ending in Cascais. Some very beautiful scenery from the look out points.

There is a small childrens park right at this pin point, but the trail is further down the mountain. Small parking area available.

There are two ways to get down to the valley. One is take the wooden staircase, the other is to follow the winding path down. For those not so good on the stairs take the latter.

My recommendation is to get dropped off in an Uber and walk your way down to the Cascais Mercadao in the city center.

Little park, somehow unexpected, and offering a splendid point of view over a valley which starts in Cascais. Close to the market a trail starts and you may reach the park hiking in a nice scenery.
