O Lagar de Valinhas

Its a little bit of paradise. You get a very warm welcome and all kinds of lovely smiles and both owners start caring for your well being the minute you found this well tempered place. They offer fresh juice ---- wow! I had the juice of the day, which was detox and thought I had entered paradise. A coke on the rocks with lime and/or a chilled beer on the camino certainly do the trick as well... yet, I found the green juice on the rocks outstanding. The (in my case vegetable) soup of the day was delicious soothing, even on a hot day and the salad was fresh and tasty. I almost didnt wanna leave. They both walked the camino and really know what a pilgrim wants- at least in my opinion. Keep it up guys! Happy I found you and took my break with you.

Sadly didnt take any pictures of my food (too busy getting at it right away - scusa) but I can guarantee: its really, really good.

The best idilic place to have a great meal in a old water mill.

They could't accept us pilgrims for lunch, because they were fully booked on Sunday, but made some very nice coffee. The stuff was very kind and the place looks amazing.

4 of us had dinner here while on Camino in late October 2021. Its very much “off the beaten track”. It’s really excellent food- very authentic, and very friendly service. It’s housed in an old olive oil pressing mill. There are some nice simple starters- try the chestnut and bacon for something a bit different. The main courses are either steak or veal and 4 different versions of cod- NB the cod portions are very big, but very very good. There is also a limited selection of desserts (chocolate mousse etc). Very reasonable prices, lots of wine options etc. NB - some websites seem to indicate that the restaurant is open all day- but in fact when we were here at end October it only opens at 7pm- and there is no obvious sign telling you that. When we walked by earlier in the day the restaurant was closed and the sign simply said closed. We learned from a local that it opened at 7. Well worth a visit, especially for the various cod options which are clearly its signature thing.

The place is wonderfull, is in fact an old olive mill reconstructed. There are poems on the walls and old machines from the factory. It's a waterfall there and all the time one can hear it's sound. The food is fresh, good and also the service is very good. It's impressive I think, because the restaurant is in a village, in the middle of nowhere.

A 6-star restaurant. Excelent traditional food with high quality ingredients. Great environment.

100m off the Camino path & SO worth it. Tranquil spot by a small river, light healthy food by lovely hosts. Take a load off and rest a while here.

Foi um almoço incrível, o melhor bacalhau assado que provamos!! "Bacalhau á Outono c/batatas a murro, grão de bico e castanhas. Ficamos super satisfeitos e deliciados... Já não houve espaço para a sobremesa. As entradas pedimos azeitonas e (pão/broa). O atendimento foi excelente. O restaurante era um antigo Lagar convertido num espaço super acolhedor e original onde primaram na decoração... Foi um almoço que certamente ficará na memória pelo *SABOR SOBERBO*... E para repetir certamente 👌🍴💯

Espaço irrepreensivel. Desde a pitoresca localização à comida, vir ao Lagar é um momento para ser apreciado com tempo.
Carta pouco vasta mas suficiente (diz se que mais vale poucos mas bons).
As carnes estupendas, o polvo formidavel de partir à colher e o ex-libris (vejamos bacalhau) de comer e chorar por mais de todas as maneiras e feitios. A carta de vinhos tambem bem selecionada e dentro dos preços ditos normais.
Unico defeito a apontar: um restaurante deste calibre apresentar uma carta de sobremesas em um 'panfleto' plastico da Olá é um dissabor final que podia ser evitado.

Pelas fotos tinha bom aspeto ao vivo ainda melhor ! Local muito acolhedor, decoração muito bem conseguida, o bacalhau ? Divinal !

Plats traditionnels de qualité! Hygiène top. Adaptent la carte pour les enfants si besoin. Service aux petits soins on recommande pour ceux qui aiment la simplicité.

Tive uma das tardes mais agradáveis da minha vida nesse restaurante. Comida excelente, bons vinhos, um ambiente acolhedor num lugar lindo de se ver. O riacho que passa atrás do restaurante é uma atração a parte

A entrada do restaurante, parece entrada de uns anexos. Mas depois de entrar, a decoração feita com os utensílios de uma lagar de azeite, ficou espectacular. WC muito limpo e cheiroso. Agora vamos já comida. Das várias entrada experimentamos os salgados, que estavam bem preparados , saborosos e sem gordura. o bacalhau há outuno era simplesmente espectacular, e para que não gosta de peixe tem o delicioso lombelo com queijo e bacon no forno.
Sobremesa tanto o leite creme como a mousse de manga estava delicioso.
E para finalizar, o atendimento por parte do funcionário foi excelente.

Já tinha ouvido falar mas durante algum tempo não conseguia ter disponibilidade para visitar.
Numa quinta feira lá fui.
Ao chegar parece que ia entrar numa tasca.
Mas o exterior não tem nada a ver como interior
Restaurante simples, bem restaurado, bonito, um mix de modernidade com antiguidade de um lagar.
O atendimento é muito bom!
E a comida deliciosa com destaque para o lombelo com queijo. A entrada: alheira com ananás também é uma mistura de sabores agradável.
