Gubałówka - Kraina Światła

What can I say... WOW! I've never seen such beautiful views in all life and this is a must in Zakopane. Very cheap to travel to the top via the train and takes roughly 2-3 minutes from the bottom to the top. In winter it was quite busy but not so much that you feel like there's people everywhere. Once at the top there is plenty to do apart from admire the views. Places to eat and drink plus cute little stalls that sell trinkets. The stalls as you walk along do start to repeat so I wouldn't walk too far along unless you just want to explore the top. You can walk up and down but I would recommend only in summer as the snow fall can be quite high. Definitely wrap up warm too as been that high can get chilly. Perfect for couples, family and even on your own if you want a lovely day out.

Amazing place you must go! The views are beautiful. The tour guide was fantastic and really made the day special.
I met other travellers and really enjoyed their company.

Nice spot with a lot to do. There is food, drink, entertainments and views, check out those views. I walked up and back down and it's a good workout. I don't like the fact you have to pay to go up even if you are hiking, that's kinda cheap.

AMAZING is the first word that comes to mind when I think back of when I was here. I highly recommend that you walk up the mountain (approximately 1hr to arrive to the top) and not take the tram (it's best to take it on your way down...costs like 20zł)

i recommend not to take a cable car :)
cause it’s so beautiful. i was there on July. the way going up is next to the building where taking cable car. at the top of Gubalowca, you can see cheeps and sometimes people sing. the sing is so beautiful. i wanna show you guys the video but i can put only pictures :(

Gubalowka mountain is breathtaking, there's a variety of things to do like skiing/snowboarding, horse and sleigh rides, shopping for souvenirs, snow tubing etc. There's also plenty of places to eat too. It's definitely not how I imagined the top of the mountain to be. It's so much better.

The sun was shining over what will be snow covered hills and mountains in a few weeks, the views are amazing. There are bars a restaurants as well as small shops at the top. What a great place to sit on the man made sandy beech looking at the fantastic views, There are cable cars to get you to the top of you don't fancy the walk.

Excellent experience, nice views over the town on a fine day. Plenty of small shops and restaurants. Other fun sort of carnival activities as well. Cable car operates from near the main mall in Zakopane. About 21 Zt return on cable train. Over 1000 m above sea level so not too cold to visit. A must see in Zakopane.

Beautiful but crowded place in summertime. You can get up there using a funicular train for 24 zloty return ticket. The view of Zakopane and the surrounding mountains is beautiful. There is a lot of restaurants and articraft shops up there.

Amazing and you can you go there hiking or by parking your car down and go up by the cable car
There is way for family's with baby strollers

Lovely trip up Gubalowka. Cable car was nice . Lots of nice places to eat and drink, little stalls for souvenirs and handmade wares. There is also pony rides, horse and carts and some sort of snow mobile rides that you can pay for. Great half day out.

Really nice views form top of the Gubalowka. At night there is a lot of the illumination which looks fabulous. You can find a lot of food and drink places. There is also lots of small places selling regional goods such socks, jackets, shoes, etc. You can get ride on sledge pulled by horse or snowmobile.

Very nice place and amazing views from thr top. You can go to top by a train ride or by walk and same for going down. Once you reach top you will see amazing views sit relax and enjoy those views. On top many resturants, snacks places and drink places as well.

This has very good scenarios which you all will love to click picture with your loved ones. This place also has very good activities for all age people. Very good food. Special polish sweet I loved too much it’s called GOFRY. All must try this. Very nice place. Must visit once. Heaven of Poland.

It's like a mini attraction up there with plenty of merchants, food stands and other activities you can do.

Simply stunning panoramic views of the Tatra mountains from Zakopane. Swift and smooth ride on the funicular railway - at very reasonable prices - brings you to the platau where you find food and drink to complement the amazing views. A must!

Absolutely must to visit if you are in Zakopane. There is beautiful view fom the top of the mountain. There are few cafes on the top where you can take a rest and have something to eat and drink. Make sure you have cash with you.
