Well if you come to Zakopane do yourself a favour and come here. Around 8 is when the music starts. The food is amazing. I got the pork knuckle as I'm I Poland and polish food is what I'm after. It came with baked potato and pickled cabbage with bacon. Not messing around absolutely amazing. The little fella got his plain burger which was the size of his head but he told me on his last bite, probably the best burger he ever had. A little bit more expensive than elsewhere but still a bargain at 50 euro with 3 beers and an oj and hot chocolate. 🔥

Nice place to eat. The staff was very friendly, the service was quick and the most important: the food was perfect. Nothing fancy, "simple" food, but they are perfected to make it. We eat veal schnitzel and veggie burger (I tried both) and they were very tasty. The seasonal beer was also very good. I can just recommend it.

If you are a visitor of Zakopane and want to eat something local and delicious this is the place
Please keep in mind to try beef/veal section, we tried beef chops and burgers, these are extremely delicious , big size
As a desert please try hot apple pie with ice cream. But after this enormous size of main course possibly you will prefer to share your dessert with your friend.
Most of time waiters are polite but sometimes due to busy hours service is little bit slower.

Very nice experience, tasty food, big portions, nice staff and rustic decorations. The apple pancakes are very good. We paid 217 zloti for a starter, two main courses, a dessert and drinks.

Very good atmosphere. Food is amazing. So authentic. We loved it. Only thing is, my csülök was not chrispy.

Cosy atmosphere and a traditional interior. Service was fast and nice, and food was amazing (pork knuckle, sauerkraut soup), the seasonal 🍺 and the pierogi were also good. There is a playground corner for the little ones.

Everything very tasty and large portions. The waiter was very kind and accomplished all ourr requests. The only thing is that the beefburger was overcooked. We had perfect pork knuckle and grilled trout.

The quickest service we got so far, big portions of tasty food, live music and songs. This is great place to visit to dring few beers eating classic Polish food, on a pace you want.

I ate pork cheeks with potato pancakes + apple pie with ice cream and it was everything delicious :) I came alone for a solo trip in June and at 7 pm the restaurant had plenty of space to sit. The food tasted like home, really recommend the place. Staff spoke English and there’s English menus. There’s also a group of guys playing traditional polish music, but it’s not very loud so it’s very nice.

This was the second time I have come to this lovely restaurant in Zakopane. The authenticity of decor, atmosphere, and cuisine is worthy of many accolades. The service was friendly, prompt, and professional. The seating was comfortable, clean and supplied with typical needs. As for the food, if you want a o ados, go elsewhere. This is a paradise for traditional Tatra delicacies. I had the deer with kopitka. For a starter I recommend the chleb with smalec. It came with pickles and a savory cooked cabbage salad. It was enough for 2 to share. The beers included regional options as well as familiar. As for price- perfectly fair and we'll within a budget conscious range. Can't wait to come back and enjoy this gem of a restaurant. I recommend and would give more stars if able.

Very friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and delicious food.

Lovely rustic decor here and live music and great food with a perfect waiter. The food was great from start to finish and our waiter ensured we had an experience we would remember. The lamb stew was great along with the apple pie. Cannot go wrong here but a reservation or arriving early is a good idea. It is quite popular place to eat.

Our server's English wasn't the greatest but was fine. About the closest thing to a negative I could think of to mention.

Food was delicious and also it was very nice cheese soup. Portions are quite big and there is also kids menu with quite big portions. Desserts are very nice. Area is quite big and I guess always possible to find a table.

This was our favorite polish restaurant we went too (we went to 4 different highlander restaurants).
This one was a well oiled machine, the service was speedy, the food was even speedier.

It may be a tiny bit more expensive than some of the others, but worth it.
A veal schnitzel, mountain trout, pancake and 2 beers came to £30.

The trout was delish, crispy skin and full of flavor. The sauerkraut and horseradish was so good with it also.

Veal came with a salad and chips. It was huge, my partner said it was great. (He’s had a schnitzel at each restaurant and this one took the cake)
