Dolina Kościeliska

A bit over crowded. But nice walk up the Blue Trail. Not many people taking the steep climbs. The hut selling cheese and the local kefir like drink is a must.

Extremely beautiful scenes. We took the horse sleigh ride which was fun but tad expensive and bumpy (costed 350 pln). I would have preferred to walk instead but we were with kids.. The snow covered mountains and trees are mesmerizing and we just can't take enough photos. Literally wherever you point the camera you will get a beautiful shot. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Zakopane!

We didn't go all the route because of heavy snowing, but it was really great experience. Totally enjoyed the view.

A lot of nice hikes for all levels. My first was a green trail of 12 miles that had some great views. My second was a 14 mile hike with amazing views. Here are some. There is a place to rest and have food though I did not try it.

A beautiful valley with streams, pines, surrounded by snowy mountains. An easy trail for people of all ages. Amazing!

Great for day escape from city, accessible for younger kids and buggies.

Due to its popularity might be extremely busy during weekends and public holidays.
Car parks available nearby: ~30PLN per stay

This 12k hike (in & out) is full of spectacular vistas and the cleanest mountain air. We went at the perfect time to see the crocus flowers blooming and perfect weather. I was given the incentive of a delicious, handmade apple cobbler at the mountain lodge. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you are in Poland and don't spend 3-4 hours here.

The Kościeliska is a very nice valley in Poland, in Tatra Mountains. if you would like to have nice weekend in the nature, I will recommend it

This is a must have for every Polish person as well as foreigner visiting poland! Beautiful on every day of the year :)

One of the most beautiful places in Poland in Tatra National Park. Will visit again for sure in the future.

As beautiful as it gets, nice entry to lots of longer trails and good place for picnic and walking

It's lovely here. On this day we had just arrived and were just strolling around, moseying, if you will, checking things out until we could check in, brief perambulations, some casual bandying about. The sights are sightful, the food is expensive, there are tourist traps lying in wait but also some lovely local oscypek to be had and divine if not subliminal vistas to feast your other senses on.

Very nice place right at the beginning of hiking trail. I ordered trout which was very nicely cooked and flavoured. If anything, I would have preferred more fresh salad to the potato puree. The prices were rather low but the quantities were huge. Also had a cheesecake which was enormous but tasted really well. Piotr was very helpful and friendly waitress who also spoke good English.

Beautiful and pleasant walk.

An easy hike with plenty of side trails to interesting areas. Wide path accessible for all types of hikers. Caves to explore on a few side trails. Easy access to longer routes. Catch the crocuses blooming in April or enjoy a snow covered trail in February. Great all year long.

Wonderful walk on a hot day. No shade. Well signposted. We tried to visit caves but a bear and bad weather prevented us from entering. Weather very changeable. Beautiful environment.

Great picturesque walk by the river in the valley. Magnificent views of mountains, mossy rocks in the river, flowers in the fields. Trail marked in green is easy and suitable for anyone including children.
