Very good, no English menu but waiters are very friendly and the food tastes amazing! great address to discover Polish cuisine.

Great place, very tasty food and nice staff. Be aware that the kitchen closes at 20:30. Nice climate, moderate prices. Definitely worth visiting if you’re near by. Possible to reserve spaces over phone. There is traditional food sets for 4 and for 8 people.

Delicious typical Highland food. Big portions. Reasonable prices. Not crowded. Much better than similar restaurants nearby.

Very good traditional polish cuisine and very cheap, we don't know much polish at all but the waitress was great and very patient with us while the kids were taking their time deciding. Would defiantly recommend to anybody visiting zakopane.

I recommend this place. Not so busy restaurant with very delicious local food and stirring background music. You can eat very well. Prices are reasonable and friendly staff.

Very nice and big place. Possibility to sit both inside and outside. The food is from Polish cuisine. The meals are big and tasty. They taste good for both children and adults.

Family of four staying in a nearby Apartment and found 1 review in English that was not so good and many in Polish that were positive. Decided to go where the locals like to go. Wow! The food, service and drinks were great! Polish customs are not like North America, so if you prefer that then a Holiday Inn restaurant is your better choice. We had the Mutton, Schnitzel with boiled potatoes, and a Pork kebab. Plus the local Vodka and some dessert. Service was great as was the food and the prices! A week traveling through Poland and the best meal so far! Will go back again tomorrow night.

I might be biased a little because we stumbled across this place after an all-day hike, but it was probably one of the best restaurants in Poland. It serves a massive selection of real Polish food - definitely try the zurek, which despite being a meat soup with actual sausage in it, is somehow classed as a starter and priced at about 18zl / €4. Atmosphere is great, it's big but not too loud and the whole place is wood with fur blankets over the seats for a traditional feel.

Szalas Holny has a relaxing, pleasant, and a friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious. We highly recommend this place and we will surely come back.
