You can go to Hiking which Starts from Donga Gali to Maskpuri Track, another trace which has no Hiking only strait track also starts from Donga Gali called Pipe Line Area (4.25 km) and ends at a tunnel to Ayubia. You can go to Donga Gali any day any time Except heavy snow falls (until Road is clear).

Right at the end of the Ayyubia Pipeline Track, this place has a sense of calm like none other. Multiple snacking options and surprisingly a Gloria Jeans as well.

Would recommend stoping here before you head towards nathia gali.

This place forced us to stay here, it's weather, nearby attractions i.e ayubia national park, mushkpuri track ( reaching the top is a challenging experience), pipeline track etc.. food and staying facilities are also good and reasonable.

Brand new tourist spot that will take your breath away. Few hotels which are comparatively new and well furnished. The crowd is pretty descent. A little crowded on weekends but very quiet during weekdays.

Dunga Gali offers scenic view in summer and winter. Gloria Jeans Coffee shoo is also there you may find many good hotels there...Trek to Mushkpuri and Pipe Line Trek start from there..which make this place as a whole day package

Dunga Gali is a famous town of Galiyat near Nathia Gali. It's situated at a approx distance of 40KM from Abottabad and 30KM from Murree. At the altitude of 2500 m, it carries attraction for trackers and hikers. Mushkpuri top track, Pipeline Track and Miranjani top track are the must visit places here. Highly recommend.

Dunga Gali is a great place for trekkers and walkers who love to hike and enjoy trekking. The weather was so pleasant, and the scenes were amazing.

Decent food places, but this place is best known for the Pipeline Track (a 4km, beautiful straight track (no ups and downs) through the Ayubia National Park (forest). Good maintenance, absolutely stunning.

It ends at Ayyubia, where you can eat Handi or Patakha Chicken from Moonlight hotel (great taste, highly recommended) OR a little up the road, there are the Chair lifts.

Do go in Daylight, aim to complete track before dark. No lightning in the forest

Fabulous place to visit with 300 km range from punjab

Dunga Gali or Doonga Gali is one of the tourist mountain resort towns of the Galyatarea of Ayubia National Park, at an altitude of 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) in northern Pakistan. Dunga Gali is located in Nathia Gali Union Council (subdivision) of Abbottabad District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
During British Rule, Doonga Gali (earliar called Zila Doonga) was served as a sanatorium to Indians and contained a hotel including post office. The area was also visited by Europeans during summer, who also had houses on the southern slopes of the nearby Mukshpuri Mountains.[1]

In 19th century, there was a Mukshpuri Temple in Zila Doonga, which was a worship place in the empire.

It was in 1930 that the British built a water pipeline starting from Dunga Gali, a settlement on the slopes of the 2,813 meters high Mushkpuri Peak, the highest peak in the area. At Dunga Gali itself, a huge circular and open to the sky water tank of strong steel sheets was built, having a diameter of about 30 meters and a height of about 10 meters. In the mountainous heights behind Dunga Gali, run-offs from natural springs and rain-water channels were engineered and networked to flow into this steel water storage tank. Then choosing a relatively level route throughout, to achieve the longest horizontal distance possible, a track about 3 meters wide on the average was carved out along a mountain slope, through thick forest, and a water pipeline was laid in the centre of the track, to carry the stored water to Ayubia, from where it was supplied to Murree at an elevation nearly a thousand meters below the starting point in Dunga Gali.

It has become a hub for tourists due to Dunga gali pipeline track. Alot of good places to rest and eat.

Great place to visit on the way to the nathiagali. You can grab fruits and almost all necessary items the management of galiyat takea a good care of the trash and they make sure that the environment is clean also traffic police is there so the traffic won't get stuck. In the rainy time you will mostly see clouds around and you can walk or drive in the clouds. Amazing place indeed.
