Mushkpuri Hotel is a hidden gem in the Galyat mountains. This historic hotel was built by the British in the 1880s and has retained its original charm and elegance. The area that burned a few years ago is currently under construction, and unfortunately it is not being kept in its original shape. The hotel offers stunning views of the water tanks that provide fresh water to the nearby villages. In the midst of lush greenery and tranquility, the hotel is the perfect place to escape the city's hustle and bustle. Additionally, the hotel provides a great base for exploring the area's natural beauty. Walking distance from the hotel is the pipeline track, which is one of the attractions I highly recommend. The track follows an old water pipeline and offers scenic views of the valley and the forest. The trekking is not too difficult and can be done by anyone who loves nature. I have been going to this hotel for almost every year and I always have a wonderful time there. Mushkpuri Hotel is a lovely place to spend quality time with your family or friends and enjoy the peace and serenity of the mountains.

Recently visited. Nice, private little place with easy access to the Mushkpuri, Pipeline tracks. Appropriate room rents. Service is great & so is food. 100% recommended

Breath taking views of Ayubia National Park.

Went there for two days. It's a hiking expedition and team building training. What a view and peace at mushkpuri top. The camping experience and watching the sky at night is full of stars.

Hands down one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Their services are impeccable. It's made in a secluded corner which gives you the best views. From the food to the stunning views and the prompt service, everything is managed perfectly. You get hot water 24/7 and even have a fireplace for the winters. You get two rooms, one is a sitting area with a pull out couch which can be used to sleep. And then there's the bedroom. That too is quite spacious and huge. The bathrooms are clean and we'll maintained. All in all, a pretty great place to stay at. Would totally stay here everytime I go to Dunga Gali.

It is a place from where I started my long journey of different places of this planet it was 1958 I was fourteen years old .This hotel was built by the British many years before 1947 The year of independence .The original caught fire and got burned down. Ten rooms built later are still being used. The owners have started building a new Hotel . I don't know how much old charm would remain for me this place is filled with nostalgia my memories of childhood for me it is one of the loveliest place of this planet.

What a beauty this place is!!! Best best place with extremely breathtaking garden with lush green grass and trees. Food was great and they have yummiest paray has in breakfast! Had swings and see saw too for kids . Best place to go in Nathiagali

Used to be great. But now service is not as good.

Wonderful place in the hills of nathiagali. It has a nostalgic feel to it. You feel close to nature with the sound of rain on tin roof and birds chirping and monkeys jumping over the trees and sometimes on the roof. The facilities are wonderful and the staff is very helpful and hospitable.

Mushkpuri hotel is the only peaceful hotel which is so near to Nathiagali Bazar. Their servies is really good and rooms are also comfortable. They have lawn just in front of rooms which is the best part of hotel. I Loved it!

I've been going here at least twice a year since 2004! The place is exceptional! It used to be an old British colonial era building with very quaint rooms. It has a huge grassy lawn next to it where you can eat, have tea, play games or just chill! The hotel - including the lawn - looks over majestic views of Himalayan mountains and pine forests. The place is mesmerizing. MUST GO TO.

Also, its a hop away from Dunga Gali Water Tanks - The water reservoir that supplies fresh water to the entire Galiyat region! Go check that out!

Rooms are old styled and good.Food is good.The best thing is that they have a wonderful lawn.It's super cold here in dec and jan so the electric heaters in rooms might not work that well so arrange something in advance i.e coals will works best they have place for them in room.

Best place to stay in Dunga Gali. Main building was burnt down in 2016, so few rooms are left. Staff is very professional, best in the area. Food quality is awesome. This is the main reason, we have been staying here again. Another attraction is its lush green lawn. Room rent now-a-days is PKR 6000 per night. Highly recommended.

I will suggest to start the hike from Nathiagali on western side of mountain which is 4 kilometre long climb and is less crowded but is longer and more difficult than Dunga Gali route.
The trail starts from Donga Gali and winds up the hill to the top of the hill which is flat at the top.
Once up there, its a beautiful meadow with lush green scenic views.

It's a beautiful place for short stay and enjoyment. It have beautiful lawns and Boon fire set up in night.
It's really amazing.

A trip up north with family is incomplete if we dont stay at the mukshpuri hotel in donga gali! It has been our favorite spot since 2002. The staff is really helpful and always hard at work, making sure all customers are happy with the service they provide! Definitely recommend this hotel for families visiting up north.
