New Rahat Cafe

Hailing from lahore, I have an inherent love for food. So far, i have tried far many restaurants/ joints in twin cities. I have been visiting Rahat Cafe since 2006. An old eatery located in the heart of Rawalpindi Saddar. For me, the attraction is their consistency in maintaining taste of various dishes over such a long time. I recently had breakfast twice and it's way better than so called best nashta restaurants of Kartarpura. Ordered Naan Chana and Halwa puri. In my candid opinion, I haven't had a better breakfast anywhere else in Rawalpindi, so it's my goto place for breakfast. If one has a love for desi food, then a must visit. Plus, the rates are really economical.

Incredible food! The chickpea curry was the best I've tasted. Staff were super friendly and excited to receive foreign customers. Complimentary tea and conversation was provided after the meal which really made it special. Always best. Good quality food ,average prices and best staff indeed. Highly recommended to all those who can possibly visit.

One of the best nashata point in vicinity where you get high quality nashata inculding hawala puri, chanay. and nehari with culcha and tea. Footfall is great on holidays and waiting is expected to be on holidays. Cafe severs one of the best nahri and prices are reasonable.
Cafe overall food is good however service needs improvement.

Just ordered tea. Which was good. Really want to eat Halwa Puri but due to non serious friend it was not ordered.

A must place to visit and enjoy in central saddar.

Located in main Saddar, opposite old Varan bus station, its a corner building, with a very nice view of the bustling street outside.
We had breakfast there for the first time and were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of their food.
They had the best channay, included in their halwa puri.
We also had nihari and naan. Both were absolutely delicious, perfectly spiced and not overly salty. We were famished so no pictures. We were 6 people, 4 adults and 2 kids, we still managed within 2 k. So, its very reasonably priced too.

Food was tasty... Sarvice was also good but i hear a lot of noise there which disturb u while eating..

Delicious food particularly halva puri, chickpeas, nihari and chicken tikkas.

Well, loved Rahat Cafe located at Saddar Rwp. I loved their "Nihari" with garma garma "Kulchay". Their nihari is the best in town. Halwa Poori was average as the taste of "Channay" was not up to the mark. I highly recommend their Nihari and Chaye.
