7-Eleven 395 Imus 2

There are lots of 7-Eleven branches around Imus. This in Bucandala 3 is where I prequently visit to avail myself of their BDO ATM machine to withdraw my remittances. The place is strategically located and very convenient for me because it is just outside our subdivision. It is where I buy morning newspapers and some necessities too. We all know that convenient stores have slightly higher prices than supermarkets but I preferred going here just to avoid long queue lines in the supermarkets and save me more time to do other things at home. The staff here are alert and easy to deal with. They are always in their best mood and very courteous too. They have ample parking lot in front for those with cars and you could always see teens eating outside in their outside sitting tables.

This location has honest employees who are polite. It appears to me the excellent conduct starts at the top. The manager during the day who is a youngish female is consistently professional and polite to me and others. I would recommend this location to anyone who simply wants to make a purchase and wishes that the experience be pleasant.

I went last Tuesday for a cash-in transaction in this convenience store. Their kiosk works fine as I input my number and the cash amount. After it, I went to the cashier for payment, and it gave me my transaction receipt. For 15 minutes, I did not receive any amount in my account because it turns out that their system went offline, so their manager (?) advised me that my cash-in transaction would probably be fixed for the next 24 hours. So, I simply asked for their names and numbers and get a personal copy of my receipt as proof of failed transaction. For three days, I did not receive any updates from the store, nor any amount received in my account, so I went back last Friday for any updates, but still, their system (?) failed to process my cash-in transaction. But today (Saturday), I finally received the exact amount (minus the "convenience fee"???).

As a former service crew, cashier to be exact, I am very disappointed with their view or meaning for the word 'service' and 'convenience'. I love their effort; however, it is not sufficient for it was taken over by the inconvenience and no assurance at all. I understand that there are technical difficulties during work hours, but still, on behalf of their store, they must do something to ensure the welfare of their customers and take proper and immediate action, and not to blame their system at all times.

I hope that the storekeepers and managers saw this review to improve their service system.
