Courteous and helpful staff.

I came here looking for a product called Banana Boat because I was suffering from sunburns that day. I've been using this product for a really long time because of how effective it is. When I asked the staff at Watsons politely if they had the product, no one knew what it was and proceeded to tell me that it was probably a product that didn't have pure aloe vera in it and that I should buy something else instead, something that they recommend. That's fine, because that's their job. Once I politely declined them and left, my friend told me that she heard the staff, particularly a group of male staff who all gathered at a corner, snickering amongst themselves and making fun of me for looking for a product that sounded as ridiculous as "Banana Boat", and even mocked me by muttering amongst themselves, "Papaya Boat". They also proceeded to give her and me condescending looks on our way out.

I didn't expect to get this kind of treatment at a Watsons. It was terrible. I didn't know what I did wrong, I thought maybe they just didn't like the way I looked or how I dressed. I had to stop my friend from turning this into a big issue. I told my friend maybe that group of male staff at Watsons just had a bad day. Bad days happen but it's still no excuse to treat your customers like this, especially when they speak to you politely and respectfully. I don't think I'll ever be visiting this branch again, to be honest.
