Sunset Beach Resort

First of all, shout out to the staffs at Sunset Beach Resort especially Lola she is so friendly and helped us a lot.
The view from the balcony is stunning.
Room was comfortable with AC and clean.
Location is amazing too, less than 1 minute to the town and beach but it was quiet at night so we didn’t even care about the noise.

definitely will come back soon.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We ordered their breakfast and we all enjoyed the silog.

THIS STAY IS AMAZING AND IS A HIDDEN GEM.
We stayed at the Sunset Beach Resort for 2 nights and 3 days. The Staff was super friendly and were kindly waiting for our arrival as our plan came late and we hit traffic coming to Moalboal. We stayed in the Superior room which was HUGE and such a cute theme with all the cobble stone in the rooms. Air-conditioner was strong and chilled the whole room. 3 super friendly dogs live at this location and wonder the property all day. If you are dog lovers like us this filled our fur baby fever during our vacation. Location is outstanding near all the tourist strips but far enough away that the late night music doesn't reach your stay. The pool is located right beside the ocean and is open to your leisure 24/7. There is a super cute gate and stairwell that leads directly into the ocean which offered amazing snorkeling right Infront of the property. If you don't come equipped with a snorkel and mask there are many dive shops 1 min down the road that will rent to you. Each morning the Staff are awake busing around and greet you kindly. If you are looking for a quiet budget friendly stay then you need to stay here.

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and Lorda has been the most amazing host! She took care of me when I was sick, offering tea and getting medication. We would have liked to stay longer but there was no more availability, so Lorda helped us booking another hotel around the corner and we could still make use of the pool here. When it was my friends birthday a couple of days later she even came over to the other hotel with a personalized birthday cake! She really went the extra mile and we felt like coming home to her. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay Lorda! 100% recommend to everyone!!

Beautiful place in Moalboal, the staff were amazing, the views from the pool were some of the best I’ve seen. It’s right on the ocean and I would gladly stay here again.

Love the place, It's very relaxing! The owner is very friendly and smiling. I almost thought she's one of our group member. There's also dogs!! Very friendly dogs! I'm usually afraid of dogs but Potita (the dog) is reaally friendly that I managed to pet her. The place is so animal friendly, they even allowed some guests to bring pets, like the guest next door, she brought her fluffy cat with her (I wish I brought my cats too). The room is clean and there's no issues, each room has their own CR. The only sad thing is there's no signature white sand of Moalboal :'< Aaand the pool is kinda dirty but that really won't matter especially if the sea is soo wide. Btw, I saw a school of sardines!!! Really love the place! It surpassed my expectations! Also very aesthetically pleasing <3 will be back there next time with my friends! ;)

Absolutely stunning location with the ocean right outside your door! Pool was a great addition and the closeness to the main tourist area in moalboal was great for eating out!

the owner is a really amazing person and super helpful. same for the stuff. they are all really friendly. it’s super clean and the location is amazing. you can go directly snorkeling from the place and the prices are really fair.
