Joshua's Batchoy

One of the best tasting batchoy in town. However, you have to be patient since on busy days, there is a long line of clients waiting, ordering. Going early might save you the wait. There's chicken, beef and pork so there's one for everyone.

Definitely one of the best I’ve tried! Joshua Batchoy is on my foods to go to for now on. My family liked the friendly service. Wait time is not long. I had the regular chicken batchoy shown in the picture.

By far, one of the best, unique batchoy blend I've tried. The broth or soup is milk based. I suggest you try the special batchoy. Because it has everything. Noodles, meat, squid balls, and importantly, lechon kawali. Topped off with chicharon. Then season it with chili powder. Oooohlala! Yes, its far fron the city. But worth the trip. Anyway, its just a good excuse also to breath in fresh air and appreciate the country side lifestyle.

The batchoy is creamy. Different from other batchoys. We ordered special beef batchoy. They serve it with chicharon. We drove for 45 mins (25kms) for this and it is worth it.

It’s a different batchoy from the usual Batchoy we ate. This one is creamier but not sweet and the ingredients has a lot of meat. It’s cheap to compared to its size 😍

This place started with humble beginnings from their winning dish, Batchoy! They stayed true to their roots and up until now (at the time of this review) their specialty comes in 3 different flavors- beef, chicken and pork. But whichever variety you choose from, Joshua's Batchoy promises to give you a creamier, meatier and tastier bowl of Batchoy. The food is no doubt a must try! On a weekend the place is packed with customers from all over Zamboanga Peninsula, as each visitor would like to have a taste of this mouth-watering bowl of noodles and meat. However, I must say that the place caters a limited number of customers as it can only accomodate more or less 20 people. In order to grab a hold of this bowl of heavenly goodness, one must learn how to wait outside and watch customers clean their palate. Maybe if this food business will progress, which will surely happen anytime soon, they need to have a bigger place to serve their loyal customers.

Probably one of the best batchoy so far. Im really impressed. 😄 Plus its very affordable considering the size of serving. Will definitely dine again here. Of you're a fan of batchoy, then this one is a must-try! 😁

Very delicious... fit for cold weather

Very good batchoy! I really recommend it, and it has different meat choices! Pork, Chicken, and Beef! Also they sell coffee and ice cream! The only shame that I live far away from it, other than that, 5 stars!

Been to many Batchoy restaurant or eateries around the Philippines, but this, so far, topped on my list of best noodle soup dish I have tried to date. One of the best gastronomoc destinations in Zamboanga City. It is located conveniently beside the national highway, it is definitely within easy reach from both locals and tourists. I remember how we tried to catch the restaurant before its closing time just to try a bowl of its famed batchoy. Wish I could be back, thanks to my friend Dave Tumindig on sharing us about Joshua's batchoy.

A go-to-place when you crave for a bowl of creamy batchoy. This is what sets it from other ordinary batchoy. You can always order for additional soup for free! ;)

Their batchoy is no longer as creamy as they used to be. The something "special" that separates them from the usual batchoys in town is no longer there which makes the long ride no longer worth it.
