Hayahay Beach Resort

This is my 3rd time to book this place with my friends & families. I love coming back to this place..Its serene and tranquil nature makes it a good option for a beautiful escape. The resort is located on the quiet side of the island & feels very private. Toilet & bathroom are clean & presentable which is one of my great consideration. The room is clean & spacious. I always recommend this place when someone ask me ideas on where to stay in Samal Island..Would keep coming back for sure!!

We held our 2023 Christmas party here and we had our best time while enjoying the whole place! The water was so clean and clear. And we really loved the marine life. Be sure to bring your snorkeling equipments or you might miss the fun! Excited to be back here again ☺

True to the name, Hayahay is Airy, Comfortable and Refreshing. 🤙

Returned home refreshed and can only sing praises about our stay here! Rooms are airy and sleeping accomodations are comfortable. Rest areas are clean and are well maintained. Facilities are either reclaimed or recycled.

The waters remain pristine. Snorkeling here was a treat, saw thriving corals that is home to a wide biodiversity.

Kudos to the team behind this, this resort is a gem that demands to be visited.

The best part of Samal waters are those resorts at the back, fronting Davao Oriental. If you want clean and clear waters, plus a bonus of vibrant marine life made up of colorful fish, varied sea creatures, live corals... Then Hayahay is for you.

Been there countless times, and each visit offered a different experience. I. Liked the fact that the owners developed the place in a way that complemented nature, rather than alter it's landscape.

Overnight stays were the best because I got to see a fabulous and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets in one go.

Words aren't enough to capture the whole experience. I guess Hayahay is better experienced than described with mere words.

Shoutout to their friendly and attentive staff. They hovered and made sure we got. everything that we need ❤

Hayahay Beach Resort is a literal paradise. It was the perfect escape spot, away from distraction and noise of the city life where we came from. We had the place just for ourselves so it was even better because we get to enjoy this beautiful resort to the fullest. We were able to catch the best sunrise and sunset here. The caretakers were beyond helpful during our stay, we felt very welcomed as well.

The signal was not bad for an isolated place like this, which was convenient since some of my friends were working from home and had no trouble doing so while being in the resort.

We booked Budjong and the space was more than enough for our group of 9 (the space can accommodate more people, we were just a midsize group, that’s why it felt such a massive area for us). Just one key point to remember tho, some path going to Hayahay is rocky and high steep, so have an ideal car for such challenging route.

We decided to hire someone for transportation to the resort and Hayahay was able to provide a referral on who to call for this service. The transportation service
were easy to communicate with. It made our travel much easier and one less worry to think about.

All in all, we really loved the resort and the people who runs the place! Next time we’re back in Philippines, we will make sure to be coming back here. Thanks for having us!

best beach resort in samal <3 perfect if you want privacy, clear water, a beautiful sunrise & a great place to make memories + there’s no corkage!!!! they have 2 bathtubs and a HUGE bathroom! coral reef is abundant which makes it perfect for snorkeling!!! they’re always fully booked so i suggest booking ahead!

A very cozy place to spend a day or 2 with your friends or family. The resort is very clean. Clean rooms, toilet and shower area. Has a big place for cooking, a pantry to store whatever food u brought. We enjoyed our stay here. Fun areas to enjoy the water. A kayak is also available if youre into it. A quiet and very relaxing experience as the resort is a bit far from the closest public resort.

Such a relaxing place to stay over the weekend. If you want adventure, kayaks, googles, snorkles, diving gears and life jackets are provided. Hayahay talaga.!

If you want to get away from it all, this could be most idyllic place in the east side of Samal island. But only if you're invited. Don't forget to bring your garbage with you though.
