Intercontinental Hotel Group

Since I was a small child The Intercontinental Hotel group was a home away from home for me. Whether it was the IC along the coast of Rio de Janerio, the IC in Nairobi, or the IC in Manhattan, or along Rue Scribe in Paris my greeting from the professional staff has been "welcome home." I'm an old man now, but I still have my favourites: Hong Kong, which was originally The Regent overlooks Hong Kong Harbour - always my first choice over The Peninsula due to being right on the water. There's nothing like sleeping in your stunning room, with the curtains open as you drift off to sleep watching the Chinese Junks, or ocean liners traverse the waters. In Bucharest I always choose the IC and in Paris the IC on Rue Scribe places me just footsteps from France's iconic shops and sights. In Vienna my rooms overlook the ice skating palace or the park and in Manhattan my daughter insists we stay at the IC so she can 'talk' me into taking her to dinner at The Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station. Wherever you travel IC Hotels offer that little bit more than all the other 5 star hotel chains. And for those who don't know what's the difference between a four-star hotel and a five-star hotel?
At a four-star hotel you may have anything you ask for. But in a five-star hotel you should never have to ask - they've already anticipated your wants. IC throughout the world brings home to you!
