Most teachers are great and some subjects are quite hard but engaging. There are also events that happen monthly or more. There are lots of quizzes/exams, some are a surprise. Their so-called "sembreaks" are almost useless since quiz week and exam weeks come right after. So far, it has ruined my mental health quite a bit and my motivation has almost disappeared. All in all, it's exhausting and interesting but fun on occasion.

At first, I thought this would be a great fun school but that isn't the outcome I was expecting currently. Too much workload, stress, pressure, and of breaking down multiple times happened in this school and are also what I've observed from my friends and other students. My honest personal experience in this school is that it's too much(and even more of that) of works as if we're working ourself off 24/7. Teachers encourage us to use the weekends for rest but always turns out to be the opposite, it's more like they just tell us to work ourselves off 24/7 even in the weekends. This school is my personal reason of breaking my sleep routine and staying up until 1 - 4 am, and I strongly think that also applies to everyone. Malayan broke my mental health several times already and honestly, instead of Malayan encouraging students to strive and study well, they take their student's motivation, eagerness, and many other more. I can say that Malayan is exaggerating much in terms of their subjects, I never expected to have 2 sciences, 2 maths, and other excess subjects which still makes me feel overwhelmed up until today. Some teachers are great, some aren't; there are teachers who always leaves students and even the parents on seen/delivered, teachers who are too harsh in their students' Performance Tasks, and tests, teachers who are scary to approach, and many other more. The school gives us a sembreak, but in the next weeks are piles of dues, quizzes, and even exams. I don't see a reason on giving us students a 1 week break and then just giving us an overloading compilation of tasks in the next weeks. The lectures in this school are great however, I could say that the way they treat their students like they're already grown ups in handling tons of their tasks is a big no.
