This is definitely a gem worth trying. Their Beef Pares is like no other and you will surely order more extra rice 'til you can't anymore. It's easily accessible via commute or if you're bringing a car, don't worry because there are lots of parking spaces around. Just ask the attendants for some help 👍

Incredibly fast and great service, food was served in less than 3 minutes of seating (And this was in lunch time where the place was full) They also gave us a pitcher of water and iced drinks which was nice. The beef pares meal is pretty average, nothing noteworthy but not bad for 160, pretty filling as well. The stuffed shrimp was great to pair up with the chili + soy sauce. The beef mami tastes like Luckyme Bulalo but of course all natural. Overall pretty good experience, would recommend.

Still one of the best Pares in my honest opinion (the other is Jonas Retiro). Nothing will replace them as the Pares Kings. Highly recommended. Since 90s my father and mother used to take us here and at Jonas, until now, I’m bringing my wife once a month. Taste is still the same. Highly recommended. Almost all their foods I’ve already tried, one remains my always go to, Pares.

One of the original and best parest in the metro, full meat pares serving that will satisfy your graving, bit pricey but worth the serving. Crowded during lunch and night time, attentive food servant and friendly security, limited parking space, Worth to visit for a real good taste of pares Mami experience.

This is one of OGs of filipino fast food, I have fond memories of my family going here after church and lining up and eating here.

Food is consistently fantastic and will always force you to get 2 cups of rice! Combined with their basic soup and chili sauce. Just divine ❤

Super sarap pa rin! Their pares is now at 170 php. Soup is refillable. We ate around 2:30am and there's still a lot of people lining up to eat.

Imitation is always the best form of flattery and I think The Original Pares Mami House in Retiro is the best example to exhibit that notion. Often imitated but never duplicated. If you're looking for the original Beef Pares (Braised Beef Stew) and Garlic Rice pairing, then look no further. The one thst started it all is located in NS Amoranto (formerly Retiro) cor. Dr. Alejos Streets in Quezon City. Despite the numerous pares spots imitating this famous joint, people can't seem to get enough of the OG sweet and savoury beef braised stew. As they say, sarap na babalik-balikan talaga. People still line up waiting to get a spot daily, 24/7 just to dine here. Dont be fooled though. Despite their pares pairing, people also line up for other selections such as the Stuffed Shrimp, Campto Soup, and their Pork (with Shrimp) Siomai. If you're within the area, might as well stop by and try their famous beef pares.

Every one of their food is filling, from the sabaw to their best-seller, the pares; they all tasted great and for sure you would need another garlic fried rice or two. The service is also great, the personnel are committed to accommodating and they serve the food fast. As for the atmosphere, you will easily notice Pares House’s experience in their business because of the cars lined up and people waiting for vacant seats.

The granddaddy of them all. If you are a pares lover and haven't been here you are not a pares lover at all. Highly recommended.

Definitely the Original Pares Retiro in Manila. Roadside parking only. One of the best place to eat around Manila, along Amoranto Ave, Blumentritt. Highly recommended!

Comfort food that’s local, affordable and unpretentious.

Compared to other pares offered within the vicinity, this resto offers cheaper but with quality pares. It's popular and easily gets crowded. Parking slots are limited. There's a separate area for takeout orders.

Came back after 4 years and was greeted with a taste of nostalgia. Almost everything changed in the streets of Manila, except the taste of their pares and beef mami. The taste makes me travel back in time during my uni days where we will go to this same branch after our bar hopping session in Morato. Their food will always make you feel like you're home.

First time here and boy oh boy it did not disappoint! First time to also eat a Pares this good. Plus their siomai is good too! Will try their other menus when we visit the place again 💯❤

Best pares so far. Place is jam packed with patrons and you'll have some problems looking for a seat especially if you visit after office hours. Parking is okay considering that the place is not that big, however, many customers bring their cars, you'll have issues with where tl find a spot.

Food is great and there are a lot of selection. Serving is big and can accommodate big appetite, more than that of a normal pares serving. Staff is courteous and will almost always attend to your needs. Note that this is a popular place to eat, so don't expect to have a VIP treatment and you'll need to carry your own weight when you eat here. I recommend to eat in the 2nd floor as it's air-conditioned and you can order in your table (not too chaotic compared below). Serving is fast. Overall, it's a classic food stop everyone should try if you happen to pass by.

Every pares lover, I guess, has tried this already. I'm always in awe of their pares every time I eat here. They have already mastered how pares should be done.
