St. Jerome YMCA Learning Center

Batch 2001, everyone?

Suddenly, I had this thinking about my former teachers and former schools attended in Manila. St. Jerome YMCA Learning Center was my first school for kindergarten.

Teacher Remy Jacobo in heaven, you will forever be missed, and I will be forever grateful for everything that you had done to me.

Here I am now, a DepEd teacher in Siargao. I am so thankful for all the memories I had had in your school (now closed because of your death).

Hoping that this post could be an avenue to reach my former classmates and have a reunion! 🍃

Nice school to enroll. Sad to say that it's closed now due to deceased of the owner, Ma'am Jacobo. Rest in Peace ma'am 😢.
I remember when I was studying here, there's so much assignments every day which is indeed good for the better learning of us. Our teacher, Ms. Femmy, and my two other teacher (I really forgot their names 😅, In not even sure if they were still a teacher . Lol 😅) , were really focused on teaching us. I also remember my classmate, Cass which has heart disease, obviously due to her violet lips color and pale skin. My bae classmates, prince and Troy I guess ( woah, I remember my classmates not my teachers 😅😅).
When in recess, we have been suggested by our school teacher to bring our lunch box. I really love how they champorado tasted. (Champorado is a porridge chocolate, a must try for breakfast 😊)
Breakfast cause I've been in a morning shift for class. Just 7-11am as I guess 😅.
I also remember when we took our graduation toga picture, that's also the very first time that someone applied lipstick on my lips, urgh.
Moving on.. on our graduation day, when I was a kid, I don't really much appreciate such medals and trophies. Not for bragging out but I've got a lot.
*Sigh* there's so much memories in this school.
And this was supposed to be a review about school not what I've experienced 😅. Well I guess, you can't do a good review for a place if you haven't been here/there, aight? 😅
