Bureau Of Plant Industry

This is a government bureau under the Department of Agriculture that is responsible for the regulation of the Philippine plant industry sector. While the main entrance to the office is at San Andres Street in Malate, Manila, there is also an entrance on the Quirino Avenue side of the compound.

I would like to commend the Crop Research and production Support Division for their immediate action and response to my request via email. May their work be appreciated. Thank you and God bless

I always go there to get quarantine permit for plants.. on my first time in getting permit they assist me..

Clean and organize place.

Old building. Walking distance from Quirino Station LRT Station. You can buy seedlings and seeds here. Limited varieties of vegetables seeds though, and in big quantities only (cans in 1kg, 250g). Though, they do give give out free vegetable seeds in small packets depending on availability. They also conduct free trainings and seminars. And some of the seminars have certificates.

All i can say is that its really cool!
