Visited multiple times over the course of a week and enjoyed consistently great morning capuchinos, hearty-sized breakfast plates & afternoon smoothies. Highly recommend the Big Breakfast featuring fluffy eggs, mushroom-feta-walnut toasty, fluffy egg-spinach-feta toasty, porridge, fresh fruit salad, yogurt w/ fruit & muesli, as well as the green & detox smoothies. And their latte art is fun, too. Their menu is so massive that it takes up the entire back wall of the open-air cafe. The vibe is laid back, so was able to hold informal business meetings as well. An overall great experience.

The menu is massive, and each plate is definitely worth trying. You can come here every day for months and have a different combination every time. What's more, you're sure to find favorites you'll be coming back for again and again.

The staff is very attentive and are well informed about the items on offer. They can be relied on to make good recommendations depending on your tastes.

Parking can be tricky, but it's walking distance from the mall, so it isn't a big issue.

Had a hearty breakfast of Nasi Goreng, cappuccino and watermelon juice in this very lively and cheery restaurant. On entry was greeted by attentive staff who seem to genuinely appreciate your visit. Staff are very knowledgeable about their menu and are happy to recommend according to their initial impression of their guests.
Tried the Nasi Goreng and was not disappointed, the best I have tasted so far. Place is a bit small but cozy and warm. Was a bit (funnily) surprised on entry at the toilet as it was wrapped in mirrors.

I've been eyeing a visit to Antipodean for quite some time now, and I finally seized the opportunity.

Here's a detailed rundown of my delightful experience:
Balinese Date Cake ₱155 - 🌟🌟🌟🌟
As it was served, the fragrant aroma of the date immediately caught my attention, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it accompanied by caramel sauce. While I enjoyed the dish, I wished the date flavor had stood out more, as it was somewhat subtle.
Nasi Goreng ₱530 - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The fried rice turned out sweeter than I expected (which caught me off guard, given my preference for savory Chinese fried rice.) Nevertheless, I found myself enjoying it. The chicken sate was decent, though nothing extraordinary. The portion size was generous and quite filling, complete with kropek (shrimp crackers), scrambled egg, and sambal sauces. My only critique is that I wished the Sambal had packed more of a spicy punch, as I didn't quite feel the expected "spicy kick."
Hot Mochaccino ₱179 - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This beverage leaned a bit on the sweeter side for my taste, but it was still quite enjoyable.

The dining experience was a delight! We usually pass by the cafe, but was only able to try it out today. The menu was extensive, handwritten on the wall, but you can also access it by the QR code on the table.

I love the semi-open setup, not a fully air conditioned space where your coffee or meals turn cold.

We ordered the Nasi Goreng, and Eggs Marlborough (Smoked salmon eggs benedict) - the food is delicious, fresh, and serving portion is just right.

For the drinks we had the Iced Mocchachino- it is cute with the ice coffee teddy bear and cube. But the other ice tubes make the drink bland; The pour over vietnamese coffee- was delicious. They had the right amount of condensed milk, not to make the drink very sweet.

We would love to come back to try other dishes and drinks. Highly recommended breakfast/brunch place!

We love going here for slow mornings (and afternoons lol). Love the ambiance of the place, service is great (although sometimes I hope they wont interrupt us when we are having a conversation, they stop us to introduce the food as they serve). Their sparkling iced coffee is interesting!

Big breakfast - ₱619
Nasi Goreng - ₱530
French Toast with Berry Compote - ₱529

My american bf loves their french toast so that says a lot 😅

Good coffee and super yummy cakes. The staff is extra helpful and friendly. The manager, Karen, in particular, makes you feel at home. I have yet to try the food but given what I’ve had so far, I don’t think I’ll be disappointed. Highly recommended brunch / coffee spot in Legaspi Village!

We tried the Fish & Chips, and Mushroom & Spinach Pasta. Both were very good and flavorful. One of the best fish & chips I’ve tasted in the area currently.

Antipodean has won me over with its fantastic coffee and breakfast offerings. While the prices might lean towards the expensive side, the generous portions more than make up for it. The quality of the food is impressive, making it a perfect spot for a satisfying breakfast. The alfresco seating is a definite plus, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. If you're looking for a place with great coffee, sizable portions, and a lovely outdoor ambiance, Antipodean is a must-visit.

This review is long overdue but I'm still sharing it anyway!

My sister and I finally tried Antipodean Manila after just passing through it on the many occasions we’d be at the Makati CBD. Part of the reason why we haven’t really considered going is that it seemed too hot to be at an open-air resto during our lunch visits. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that they actually had air-conditioning inside. And yet funnily, we chose to sit alfresco on that cool day of January.

It was easy to be overwhelmed by their extensive menu…but if their All-Day Breakfast, Greek Chicken Souvlaki with Lemon Orzo, and Iced Mochachino were any indication of the rest of the items, well consider us converts…we wish we gave them a chance sooner! Super delicious!

Place was spacious and the staff were sweet and kind.

We ordered Nasi Goreng and Kebab and it was great, although, some parts of the beef was a bit hard. Still we enjoyed every bite of it. Coffee was good, too. Staff are very accommodating and professional. Great place to chill, work, and meet up with friends.

I only ordered an iced coffee as I just needed an hour where I could have my urgent online meeting. The waiters/staff who assisted me in finding the best spot, who served the coffee on my table and took my bill have all great services and attitude. Haven't tried their food yet but would love to go back with friends soon!🤩
