Balay Buhay sa Uma Bee Farm

Relaxing farm good for sight seeing and taking pictures. They have a spring with ice cold water that you can swim on which is very refreshing.

One of the best bee farms here in Bicol. Pure and original honey can be availed here. Vast area of garden and a lot plants from flowering to bearing-fruit trees. They have also a refreshing spring and beautiful function halls. The best place to conduct events and do cottage culture here in PH.

The place is so beautiful. You can really feel the nature. I like the fact that their staff also know much about the Stingless Bees. It is so amazing that we can just go near them without getting stung. The staffs are so accommodating and friendly. The rooms are beautifully curated. I love the feel of the regular bahay Kubo as an interior. It give too much aesthetic. This is a well deserved vacation and I highly recommend this place to my friends and family should they visit Bicol.

We stayed here overnight and would have extended if not for the low pressure area so we left Sorsogon the following day. We stayed in the bahay kubo which was very clean and well maintained. It's simple but it has what you would need for a short stay. It's a nice experience to go back to basics.

It's a huge complex and it was nice walking there even in the rain and there's also a cold spring natural pool. The garden is well maintained. They have several staff who maintains the place in good condition.

The staff were also very helpful and helped us navigate our way around Sorsogon.

They are an eco friendly place so don't leave non biodegradable trash, put it in a plastic and take it with you. They have a list of things which they request you don't leave there.

It has a potential for a nice retreat place if they can provide healthier food options which they can easily source from their garden (herbs, veggies, honey, fish, etc).

This definitely a place to visit in Sorsogon. The place is very good. The foods are VERY DELICIOUS. And I mean it. I've tasted cooked vegetables everywhere and this is by far THE BEST. The air is fresh. The bees doesnt harm if you wont disturb them. The pool is big and water is flowing, so dont worry about itch. The cottages and rooms are good. The place is clean. And the staffs are courteous and accommodating. Special thanks to Mr. Marlon, safety officer/mountain guide/ all around staff for being the best companion for our workshop. I highly recommend this place.

I thought it was just one of those bee farms like the butterfly farms that you go to when you visit the provinces, wherein you will get like a boring educational trip. To my amazement, this place is beyond beautiful. It is well-maintained with great landscape and really an awesome place to relax, appreciate nature in its purest form. It is so greenish with its lovely plantation and there are flowers that add to its beauty. There is also a nice pool where you can cool yourself off. I have not tried the resto as we were in a bit of a hurry but it looked very promising. A place I would definitely return to to see all over again!

I really love this place since it has a complete amenities for the whole family to enjoy. They got swimming pools,nipa hut for overnight,pond to feed the fish they have bees and beautiful garden, I like how they keep the place clean and organized. Salute to the Management.

When it's summer you will never wanted to go out of the water.

It has a very pristine cold water that can be enjoy by both children and child at heart.

They offer food however it needs an early reservation.they have rooms for rent and function hall for different occasions.

Guests must be cautious because this is a bee farm.

Nature at its best.. and the food is very delicious! Entrance fee is qt 50 pesos per pax. For those who want to eat there, you have to make reservations first and pre order the food.

An overnight stay at balay buhay sa uma is awesome, fresh air, lush green mountain side... The home cook style foods were tasty and delicious... Their staffs were accomadating... Fish feeding with the koi fish, and the kids love it... We enjoyed swimming and kayaking at the spring water (flowing)... And before I've forget, please dont disturb the bees... Hehehehe... I'll be back here soon...

I love the local dishes they served, especially the one with snails. The staff were very accommodating, despite my group arriving late for our reservation.

Balay Uma Bee propolis massage oil very effective with soothing relief. Great for any muscle pain and discomfort.
