Modesta Resort

Very good resort for various budget needs! They have big public pools for those 1 day/night swimmers. We got the Cabin 3 that had a small private pool for a group kf 6 adults and 1 baby. Was bit cramped so I recommend 2-4 pax would be best.

I love the cabin as it was well maintained with good facilities (shower heater, stove and kitchen utensils, big fridge and working aircondition)!! The private pool was also very clean and the water was lukewarm which makes it better!

Cons: wifi was not reliable but perhaps because our cabin is at the end if the property. Sink piping was broken so some water was flowing to the kitchen floor.

Despite the cons, I really recommend it and they have other types of cabins. We got to talk with the owner and they are continuously adding more facilities and improving!

Modesta Resort in Sorsogon is a hidden gem. With its tranquil ambiance, friendly staff, and beautiful surroundings, it's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a peaceful getaway.

Located in Monbon, Irosin. The road is a little bit rough going there but you can asks the locals for the directions in case you got lost.

The price for the Cabin for 6 pax is 6,000 thousand pesos. If you exceed the limit, then an additional 500. there is a discount of 200 pesos for senior citizens.

The cabin is loft style. There is one main bedroom, then beds located at the upper floor. The stairs is just a bit challenging. The kitchen is fully equipped with the cooking utensils, a reft, grill at the back and even tables and chairs. The comfort room is also spacious. The mini pool outside the cabana is warm compare to the infinity pool. You also have access to the public pool so better to try them all!

Overall, the experience was great. Will definitely recommend this place. It was worth the drive!
