Tamaraw Beach Resort

Visited during off-peak. They're currently constructing new villas atm but the existing amenities are more than enough. Rooms aren't new but well maintained.

White sand and peaceful place. Relaxing.

The staff are friendly and the parking is good.

Note: place is not well lit during the evening. It would be better if the management would install night lights/accent light/mood lights specially on the pool deck

I last stayed here in 1989 and of course lots of things have changed, but the beautiful location and relaxed atmosphere are the same. The room was very large with private bathroom and a/c and very reasonably priced. I did walk to White Beach, which is very over-developed, and was really pleased to go back to Tamaraw.

Great place if you are looking for that chill vibe, very nice quite and clean place. You have a swimming pool and just a few steps away from the sea ❤

is very relaxing place, all the amenities are excellent from the entrance to the lobby, hallways and specially their rooms.

The l staffs are very welcoming and accommodating you'll really feel at home. Perfect for you and your love ones.

TOOK MY BIG FAMILY OF 10 + 1 2 & 1/2 YEARS OLD GREAT GRANDSON TO CELEBRATE MY DAUGHTER'S 52nd BIRTHDAY. I HAVE NOTHING BUT TO PRAISE FROM THE PROPRIETOR, OVERALL GENERAL MANAGER, ALL THE STAFF FROM CATERING TO HOSPITALITY STAFF. WE WERE SOON PUT AT EASE AND OUR ROOMS WERE READY FOR AN EARLY CHECKIN TIME AS WE HAVE TO TAKE THE MIDNIGHT FAST CAT FROM BATANGAS PIER.

If you like snorkeling, there are 2 sea turtles at Tamaraw Resort lurking around at the beach. Rooms are nice and the location is quite near from the port. I would recommend if you'll rent a motorcycle for your stay to make it easy transport.

Fascinating scenes on the beach, although the sands on this resort were rocky and I recommend using sandals when on the beach waters. The wind is strong throughout the day and peaks around 1 to 2 pm, this makes eating on the tables outside the rooms somewhat difficult but manageable to eat at. The ihawan areas could also be affected by the wind during the day, or at least when it is windy.

I implore visitors to wake up early around 6 and watch as the sun greets the hills nearby, so you could walk to the nearby white beach where there are many shops, from bars to eateries and to souvenir shops for family and friends.

lovely recreational place, ideal spot to unwind with almost if not complete amenities (seaside swimming pool and picnic/BBQ area) you could think of, not to mention courteous staff.

The staff are super accommodating and very approachable. Beach waves during our visit were rough, though the pool was very much enough to get a glimpse of the waters that could have been. The food is quite pricey, but do get their tamaraw adobo rice, a must try!

I really like the place. It is comfortable and affordable. You will definitely love the place. High five!!

This hotel offers a peaceful place in Puerto Galera.. far from the busy shore af sabang and the well known white beach. It has infinity pool facing the beach shore. Rooms and service are superb

We always stay here everytime we're in Puerto Galera. All the staff are nice and attentive. Although it is not that far from the white beach, it still feels that you are having a vacation on your own private resort. You can hang out by the beach anytime. They have huts and beach chaise lounges for your use.

A short walk from the more crowded beach, the Tamaraw Beach resort was nicely secluded while still accessible from the area where most of the action happens. If you were to walk along the beach, you get to climb on some boulders, and at night when we crossed we even saw a swarm of fireflies around a tree. Made for quite a romantic and mildly adventurous walk for us.

We've been coming more than twenty years. A clean safe quiet family friendly resort. Right next to White Beach, but a world away. The place has only gotten better over the years. I can't think of anyplace in the Puerto Galera area that can even compare with this place. The beach? Clean and sunny but with plenty of coconut trees and lounge chairs for shade. The waterline is safe and comfortable to wade out in. No sharp rocks or mud. The restaurant has very good food, both Filipino and western food (burgers fries etc.) and is very affordable. Free breakfast. There's also a really nice new good-sized infinity pool, and a nice bahay cubo where excellent massages are available. Choice of rooms range from older beach cottages under the coconut trees to fancier new rooms in the high rise overlooking the pool. Come here once you'll be treated great. Come back and you're treated like family. Staff are wonderful. Trikes outside will take you anywhere. Take a banca right to Tamaraw and relax.

This place has good rooms, an infinity pool overlooking the beach, and lots of activities that you can avail. What I like the most about this place is the peacefulness and tranquility that you cannot find on the nearby White Beach. Highly recommended if you want a quiet vacation.

Tranquil and quiet beach that is not stony or littered with corals. The water is nice and cool in the afternoon and a bit warm in the night depending on the weather. The waves are also nice and calm during summer.

Overall, a good choice if you wish to get away from the hustle and noise of the party places like Sabang Beach and White Beach. White beach is also accessible from Tamaraw beach via a short trek through the Cliffside or a short tricycle ride from the highway.
