Nonie's Boracay

In the Philippines, they like to fry food and while we give in to that temptation a little too often, it’s so nice to find genuinely fresh food, drinks sweetened with honey, rich flavours, properly spiced. This was one of our best meals while in the Philippines for 3 weeks.

We've been staying in Boracay for the past 5 days and this restaurant really stood it for me. We ordered the Tempeh Kare-Kare and Vegan Chorizo bowl and the Vegan Buko Tart for dessert.

They did an amazing job eith the flavours! I'm not vegan but my vegan friends will definitely appreciate this gem when we visit again from Australia!

This is one of those places where you say: Wow! We had the sticky ribs, the jackfruit deep, the fish and prawn curry and the mango sticky rice at the end. Everything was fantastic. I can't wait to taste the other dishes!

We came here for lunch one day and the restaurant wasn't too busy.

We had vegetarian empanada, fish and prawns curry, and pandan pancakes.

The food is very flavorful, nice presentation and the food quality is very good.

We came second time and ordered pork and chicken adobo. Very good!

This spot in Boracay is a healthy food gem! From vibrant salads to nourishing smoothie bowls, every dish is a delight.
The staff here are incredibly polite and helpful, making every visit a joy. Highly recommended for wholesome, delicious eats!

Glad to have discovered this during my Boracay trip. I very much enjoyed the Pineapple Pandan Pancakes. They were fluffy and moist. The dulce de leche sauce had a sweetness that almost teetered onto a burnt caramel flavor. It was interesting. I wish more of the sweetness came from the Pineapple though. I think it was overpowered by the other flavors. Every bite felt like a journey that I went back for a second time.

The next visit I got the Tempeh Kare-Kare. This is my first time trying tempeh but I'm used to eating healthier options. Liked the texture of the tempeh! The flavors were balanced. I like how the fresh lettuce complements the heavy coconut milk sauce.

They also had free wifi so I got a bit of work done while here. I think there are outlets but I didn't stay long enough to need one. I will definitely visit again.

Nice place to eat heathy foods!!
Especially I want to recommend egg benedict.

The best food-experience on Boracay! Absolutely amazing salad with chicken and desert! Portions are really big so you can order just one and be sure you’ll be full.

Good dining experience! Service waiters are very attentive. Food serving can be shared between 2-3 persons. Not so many options for meat lovers but this place is a must for people looking for healthier options and vegan food. Would recommend this place.

Very interesting menu. You will probably have to ask about the menu, since it contains many unfamiliar items. Waiters are very attentive. A bit too much maybe. They could chill more. So we started with the jackfruit dip which was beautifully presented and very flavorful. For the mains we had the tempeh bowl. We tastes the tempeh first. It's a vegan option made of locally brewed soy beans. Very mild. Complements perfectly the other ingredients in the bowl: vegan bagoong made of black beans, soft boiled egg, unripe mango shreds, white buffalo cheese, tomato, adlai and lettuce. Give it a good mix to experience the complete flavor spectrum of the dish. We also had the seafood tinupig, which is a steamed egg and seafood cake. Served with black rice, onion chutney, salted peanuts. The dishes we tried were beautifully conceived and unique. Very flavorful, well balanced. Also tried the home brewed ginger beer. Very refreshing accompaniment to the food.

Had breakfast (first picture morning porridge nonie's style. And dinner mango smoothie with fruits.Delicious,clean,friendly staff (chef came to ask about the food!-I'm impressed).Not that cheap for Philippines,but worth every pesso!Most definitely recommended and will be back.

The kimchi noodle soup is 10/10. Home made kimchi is the best I’ve ever had in my life! This cafe is a MUST while in Boracay!
Rod was so happy and kind! The best place hands down!

We’ve been in Nonie’s many times during our trip to Borakay. The big variety of food and also with visual representation.
Everything that we ate was super delicious!
Highly recommend to visit this amazing place!

Omg I can't believe I haven't written you guys a review yet. This is, hands down, one of my top 3 island favorites. I love this place, in local parlance, walang tapon!!! Everything is soooo good. And healthy. And delicious.

I always refer friends and guests here as they will surely enjoy.

Loved the healthy options and large servings. Special mention to Art who was knowledgeable about the menu offering and very attentive. 10/10

More healthy + clean restaurants like this one, please. I wish I could have experimented with the menu a little, but unfortunately, I had just recovered from a bad case of food poisoning in El Nido, so I'm sceptical of trying any more meat on my holiday.

My smoothie bowl was delicious, though. Great service, and they offer a visual menu too.

-My only suggestion is to state on the menu which items are gluten-free or gluten-free upon request

I love their squid sarciado! Gosh it was super tasty, and the egg was seasoned perfectly. Malasa talaga. My partner loved his bowl as well. They serve great coffee and healthy shakes as well. Their shake combination flavors sound odd but it works well together!

Our server was very attentive and engaging. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best restaurants at Boracay. Worth a visit!

Only con are 2 things: the dine in area was a bit stuffy and hot (but they had fans to compensate) and serving size was on the small side.

Budget is around Php 1k per person for 1 main dish, 1 shake and shared dessert.

Service and food were amazing. Unsure as to why this establishment isn't 5 stars. My favorite aspect is they have vegan food and non vegan food without being pretentious.
Never in all my time in the Philippines have i put in a drink order and received so quickly. My waiter Rod made my experience an easy 5 stars.
