Ma Mon Luk

Excellent siopao (steamed buns) and mami (pork and chicken noodle soup)! Their menu's simple with very fair prices and their food is so good that it makes you forget that the room temperature is just as warm as it is outside. The Special Siopao completely filled with shredded pork asado (marinated) and a salted egg was amazing! I shared one with my brother then he suggested we each get our own. Then the Mami arrived hot with perfectly cooked noodles, pork, and chicken in a tasty, comforting broth. This is what you want when you're hungover, sick, or just hungry.

NOTES/TIPS:
**Don't wait for a server to take your order. To place an order faster, write your order including drinks on a piece of paper then give it to a waiter.
**Can accommodate large groups.
**The siopao is great to pack for the airport or airplane in a ziploc bag.
**1950s vibes cuz they never changed. Embrace it.

I love their mami together with special siopao, busog ka talaga. The combination of mami and siopao is the best! Although waiting for thier waiter to accommodate your order takes time, but serving is fast, just bring your patience with you, they have antique equipments displays for deciration. A must try. You can dine in or take out. They also have parking space but not that big, located along the road side.

Highly recommend their special siopao! Not a fan of siopao but I loved their special siopao so much! Beef mami is also goood.

They only accept cash payment.

We went on a Saturday afternoon. There were many people but the place is not too crowded. Their siopao is a must try! No extenders, just pure beef. You get the value for your money.

Ahhhh... Same old Ma Mon Luk! Always my first stop when in Manila. Food has not changed in 100 years, I think! Never disappoints as far as I am concerned! I grew up with this. If you didn't, you may not get it. One bite of the siopao and one slurp of the Mami, I know I'm home!

Still the best Mami and siopao house in manila. Place hasn't changed since I was a kid. Although I felt the place was a bit darker, felt the same ambiance of the old. One will have to be patient if they want to get a taste of the best Mami and siopao. Parking is so inadequate for the customers who want to dine in. We had to wait for 40minutes so we can park properly and get off the car. For dine in guests, they just have to choose their table and wait for the waiters to take their order. Old school table service. Sarsi is also available which goes great with your chosen meal. Overall it was worth the wait. Truly fulfilling experience.

Coming back to this place brings memories, and after all these years the taste remains the same. Here’s my ONLY request, bring back the REAL amount of servings! The large mami is more of a regular sized mami. You still have your customer base, please bring back the old menu!

This restaurant is an iconic place serving authentic and delicious chinese food since 1950’s. If you’re craving for noodle soup and siopao, this is the place to be. Limited parking slots available, so plan your visit ahead of time.

It's like going back in time, eating chinese noodles with a perfectly warm broth. Service was not bad given that there are a lot of customers.
Parking was also not that hard that night. There is a car parkspace for motorcycle.
I enjoyed their special siopao, it was compact, full of flavor and very satisfying. The broth of the soup is just ok, not that strong but still compliments the whole dish. I still think ordering the special mami plus the special siopao was a great combination.
Will definitely comeback for more👌

I am super speechless with the food that I had.. the noodles were so authentic and the soup is superb! The siopao is sooooo yummy. It's all worth it! 🏆✨

As usual, Original Mami and the siopaos are just simply incomparable.
My mom from U.S. requested for us to visit this resto as she rekindle memories from her childhood. The siopas are still the same. (A little more pricey though,but its worth it.)
Everytime we are within the area, we cant miss out this resto. A personal fave!

As opposed to what the other's commented, my customer experience here was superb. Order was taken as soon as we (couple) took a seat and the food was served less than 15 mins. I love both the original mami and the siopao. Mami was close to my impression of how chinese dishes tastes like compared with your carinderia mami which has a definite hint of Filipino taste sensibility. Siopao was one of the best siopao I've ever tasted. The vibe of the place is what I have expected out of this classic restaurant which others might find a bit underwhelming especially if you're on the sensitive side. You might also find problems with parking but I arrived here without a car so I'm not going to minus a star.

how about paired Mami (beef/chicken) Noodles & Siopao? (pork bola-bola/asado dumplings). the unique flavors still remains savory and delicious to this day... mind you, these are not the usual bland common tasting kind you'd find around town. so, if you're up to classic & authentic Chinese noodles & siopao treat yourself at Mamonluk... it's the specialty noodle house you'd be having your merienda.. enjoy!

Come and enjoy the best noodles and siopao in town kn this local restaurant. This place has a lot of history being in existence way back as I can remember.

Food are all awesome, special sauce is a bomb.
