A lot has not changed at Wai Ying Fast food.
Mainly the food, quality and portion is still good, its still one of the "comfort food" I look for whenever I visit downtown Manila.
The place still has the old chinatown fast food vibes, not very bright, not the cleanest looking (but hey, its often true, the not so good looking restaurants serve authenitc, delicious food)

What has changed though is the pricing. I grew up in this area and since high school i remember the price of one rice topping is just around 90-110pesos but since then it has doubled. But still highly recommended, and I believe currently is still worth the price.

I love their dimsum, congee, mami.
For rice toppings: Asado rice, and Chicken Mushroom Rice

Pre- CNY stop here from Divisoria Shopping. The other branch was always jampacked but this one has always open seats and street parking. Always our go to resto in Binondo

Best place for casual dimsum and Chinese comfort fare in Manila. They have the best siomai, hakaw, cheongfan, beef balls and shrimp wantons. We also love their congee and minced beef rice!

Cash only. Parking’s very very difficult as with most places in their area. Can look for pay parking slots around Masangkay or street parking.

Best hakaw ever! The soy chicken is very soft, tasty and flavorful. The food they serve are all cooked in a very traditional way. I'll definitely come back here-over and over again...

Arrived at 11 am and there are no crowds. It's also bigger than the branch in Ongpin. You can taste the difference between their noodles and most ramen places which uses alkalized egg noodles, tastes like your go to Lomi. The dimsums have chunks of meat, shrimp and makes for an exciting texture on top of the flavors. The lemon chicken is crispy but needs more lemon taste. Will definitely go back, for all of their awesome dimsums and noodles!

Great food and reasonably priced. They also have frozen dimsum that you can buy.
Parking maybe a problem if you go here at peak hours (lunch and dinner time).

Delicious food as always. Their congee, siomai, and curry are highly recommended!

They have maintained their standard in taste for years, and it is a must try Chinese restaurant in Manila.

The place can get a bit crowded, but the service is usually very quick, with polite staff all around.

Car parking can also be a bit of a problem, since there is only street parking available, so do plan ahead.

Delicious and affordable chinese food..authentic taste since then.. when we went there, there's no line outside maybe because we went after lunch. Be sure to have your vaccination card with you.

It's a very delicious hole in a wall restaurant. They serve authentic Chinese cuisine. Order the beef wanton noodles and curry beef dumplings.

One of our go to restaurant in Binondo. It was 2015 when I had a love at first bite in this resto. They serve a hot Jasmine tea and wonton broth soup for free. Chose their best seller, Beef curry and never regret. They are good in their rice toppings offering. But meh in dimsum. There is like a untreated oceanic taste in seafood dimsum. But overall, Waiying is one of my sweetheart in Binondo.

It's one of the places that's a "must try" in Binondo.
The food was good especially the hakaw, though it's 100Php for 4pcs, ots really yummy and you can see real shrimp when you try to open it.
The serving for me is good enough to share for 2 persons.
The place is quite small but they have 2nd floor. At first I thought that it was hot inside but it was air-conditioned.
The staffs I guess needs more improvement.
But still will go back for the food.

Great place for when you’re hungry and have to have hearty Chinese good. But you have to be hungry because it’s a long walk from the corner where you get off from the ride you took at Rizal Ave. Food’s well worth the effort though.

This restaurant will always have a place in my heart. After a decade, they still have the same spark and of course, good food.

It’s their all-meat congee for me with their special ginger sauce and lots of chilis. Sarap!

And never ever miss that hakaw! Oh yum. ‘Di pa rin nagbabago ang masarap na lasa after all this time.

Tip: Do not eat here on weekend lunch and dinner time. Sobrang haba ng pila. I always see to eat na weekdays or off hours kami kakain dito para mabilis at hindi hassle ang service.

Wai-ying, always.

Best tasting congee in town! I love the roasted congee they have. Very affordable and taste good. Hawak, siopao and siomai are the best too! Must try their hot milk tea. The place is a must see.
