Double M Hotel

Reservation was done via SMS, and there was no down-payment needed, just word of honor.

Since it was Christmas time, the hotel lobby was decked with decor suited to the season - a massive tree greeted the guests at the front door even when we came in through the back door (from the parking area!). The lobby had a homey vibe even when its finishes were mostly concrete. There was a lone receptionist who made our check-in seamless, and a staff offered to bring our luggage up to our rooms even when we only had back packs.

Check-out process was smooth inasmuch as it was quick. The coffee shop adjacent to the lobby was open at around 7am, and it was such a delight to have a cup of coffee for the road.

The good points of this hotel are that it has great ambiance and spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, a modernized look, not noisy even if it's by the roadside and the bathroom was very nice. The negative points I can say are that the room was missing a mini fridge, the hotel didn't have any business computers for guest's use, and also no in-house laundry service.

The location is perfect since it's in the heart of the city and convenient to the basic places you need to go to like grocery store, pharmacy and banks.

The staff employees are all very helpful and nice and they take care of the guests so well.

The restaurant serves very delicious food and the staff at that restaurant are very friendly (except for one man who seemed to not be very happy being there, he was one of the waiters, I think). I gained a lot of weight while being there because that food served there was just too good! 😁

Overall, this hotel would be my go-to whenever I go to visit the Philippines.. thank you for making my stay there awesome!

This hotel takes you to another level. It’s a semi industrial-modern contemporary hotel in the heart of Valencia City. Their restaurant gives a mountain view in the morning.

5/5 stars!! We stayed here for ten days, and everything was BEYOND the bare minimum. The food? The staff service? The venue? Absolutely beautiful. Everyday the food tastes good, i could eat it everyday. I love the staff’s calm and kind energy and aura to their guests!! The NVM mall is literally straight across, the bank is to the right, and there’s a laundromat to the left. Would stay here again if ever we go back to Valencia. I recommend to everyone who’s looking for a hotel to stay!!

My wife and child stayed here for about a week while visiting Mindanao. I booked this property based on prior personal experience and knew that it was the ONLY Hotel within 50km that was worthy of accommodating my family. Gracious and perfect service at all times. Very welcoming of my 2 year old daughter who is enjoying her first trip back to visit her grand parents. My highest recommendation is provided should you require a proper hotel with Ownership and staff who deliver a fantastic experience for you and your loved ones!
The rooms are first class and the location suburb given the price, which is a treat as the property is quite affordable. However, at any price, this property exceeds all expectations.

I think this is one of the best Hotels or maybe the best Hotel in Valencia, MalayBalay and Environment.
Combined with a very very good restaurant, a good place to stay!

Nice decoration, very clean, everything is working, everything is fine. You can stay here even if you expect a lot and expect a international standard hotel: You will be satisfied!
Inside of the hotel you find the Confiserie Totsys, the deli tirsos, and a current closed Tisalonge. And, the main spot: the famos Roadhouse cafe. That's not an cafe, it is a first class restaurant! You can find my reviews for all of this three.

Extra tipp: If you want to know what the Double m makes different from other Hotels in this area or better on the philippines: Just slide the bathroom door. They put a sliding mechanic here very rare in the philippines! The door is like hoovering. No sound, no noise on moving.
Don't hope for a extraordinary view: The Hotel is direct inside of the center of valenica. But they have good windows, so very silent.
They have 3 parking lots in front, most occupied. And another parking lot (6+ places) in the backside. Hard to find! Comming down the roxas street, and 70 mtrs. BEFORE Google maps ask you to turn right to Double M, there is a barrier and a security guard. He will let you in and guide you on parking.

By the way: Google maps send you from the Rohas street to the ML Quezon Street... But this road is a one-way road, you are not allowed to enter this direction!!!

Perfect accommodation, perfect place to relax and dine.

Restaurant offers a cozy and relaxed ambience. Prices are not cheap but reasonable. Which I think is the reason that it isn't usually crowded; though another reason could be that parking is very limited. Food is really good and there is a variety of choices in the menu. Place is great for small gatherings and celebrations. You can also cross order from it's adjacent cafes offering salads, cakes and more.

Excellent service, simple but elegant rooms & spaces, relaxed atmosphere and very clean. I can’t praise this hotel experience enough.

This is most probably the BEST hotel in Valencia City. It’s right in the middle of the city center, just across a supermarket. The rooms are super clean, well-maintained, and unique too! I also love the food. They have several in-house restos, each providing a unique dining experience. I’ve stayed here 3 or 4 times! :)

This is the favorite place we always checked-in everytime we travel to Bukidnon. The service is perfect though they do have limited parking space

This hotel is incredible! Clean and comfy rooms, great staff, and delicious food among the three restaurants that can be found on the ground floor. The bar on the fifth floor has a great atmosphere and has fantastic selections. There's even an entertainment centre with Sony flat screen TV and Bose speakers, as well as a comfy leather sofa to match. The entire design of the hotel, from the rooms to the lobby and bars, is classic and elegant. We decided to stay the night in Valencia en route to Cagayan de Oro, and had nowhere else to stay, so we decided to look up nearby hotels and boy am I glad to have found Double M. Their rates, although a little steep, is absolutely worth every penny. You get free complimentary drinks at the bar, and free breakfast included in the rate. Overall, 5/5 and would absolutely come back again!

What an extraordinary experience! This very new and real stylish hotel has it all, well except for a swimming pool (wish they had it) But hey, everything else is almost perfect.
