Yaka Restobar

A great place to hang out with your friends when you are in Malaybalay City. It has a unique feature as the name of the store implies yaka or squat. The place is made of wood and it has a 2nd floor which has a good view. It is cozy and the food was great too.

The food is superb, the ambience is quiet unique, with a traditional style of bamboo flooring, everything seems perfect here. Its cozy and comfortable. They serve drinks too. The staff are very friendly. They open at 4pm. Wait till it gets dark and they turn their lights on and they start their live band... just wow

Yakā restobar is a place where you can eat snacks or do it with drinks but with thrill of course you need to enter barefooted (they have shoe rack) and enjoy your orders with no chairs but small tables (like chinness dinning)

Don't let appearances fool you — the decor may be perfect for drinking beer, but the buffalo wings are to die for. This place is for groups or a casual date night. And oh, will never forget the choice of music. Twas superb!

I love the concept in this place, it does not only let you experience, yaka (dialect the place which means to sit on the floor), in a "no chair place" but it was also designed in Filipino style. Weaved kawayan for a traditional style, perfect lighting in yellow bulb light that creates the mood, and beautiful melody from the band at the corner of the counter. It lets you enjoy the mood with their delicious servings of food that can be paired with different drinks available including light alcohol. This is a perfect place to enjoy your day-end with your barkada.
