Timberland is an underrated brand despite having very good quality products. It’s overshadowed by other brands that’s fairly too common and marketed for appearance not for function and comfortability.

The Makati branch’s location also doesn’t help if you’re not familiar with the exact place, and it will take you 15 minutes just to find it even though the concierge has given you a specific direction at the same time Google Maps do not help indoors.

Varying price point depends on what type of pair of Timberland shoes you are looking for. Majority is heavily influenced by what they wear than what is good for them that some branded stores do not last long.

The other part of Timberland brand is also being known to produce Work Shoes with steel toes or protective toe caps, which none of its stores provided and that is what they’re missing out to keep the product relevant in the Philippines.

The boutique stores do not carry the Pro Work line of Timberland, which is what the product is known for, namely its Functionality and not about the vanity side that marketers in the Philippines are only known for this narrow minded-type of thinking in promoting the brand. Rather than highlight its strength compared to other brands that has become more of dictating everyone should wear than what is good for your feet.

It is unfortunate why other brands folds because the lack of researching what makes these brands known for, not for the majority of customers. There’s nothing wrong with their service just the limited catalog they have in their stores that slowly make them irrelevant.

If they want to stay competitive they should market what their products is known for than chasing other brands that limits their function.
