It’s our second time dining here already and the food never disappoints! We celebrated my dad and brother’s birthday here, and we’re always surprised with the food serving (and how tasty they are!).

The service is exceptional too, special mention to Henessy! He’s very attentive, helpful, and has strong sense of leadership that can gather the entire staff whenever we request to sing for our birthday celebrant.

It gives justice to its name—the view was pristine and uninterrupted. Went there for lunch and the place is packed so be sure to bring patience. They have plenty of crew so you’ll be provided assistance timely. I suggest sitting outside by the al fresco to better enjoy the view with the fresh breeze. As for the food, everything we tried was amazing. The serving size is for sharing so I would say the items on the menu were rightly priced.

Very accommodating staff, they are well trained how to handle guests and to give superb service, picture perfect view, and super delicious food.. Kudos to the management and all the people behind The View Restaurant, you're marking our life events meaningful and great experience. I think all of our life events will repeatedly be celebrated in this beautiful restaurant. Thank you very much Sir Jess Teano the General Manager with a good heart and super handsome.

We spent our anniversary here and we didn't regret every bit of it! We loved all the food and drinks that we ordered. They were tastefully prepared. The ambiance and ofcourse the view were spectacular! The service was impeccable. Kudos to all the staff and the management of The View Restaurant. It was such a lovely experience! ❤

This restaurant lives up to its name as the view overlooking the Taal Volcano is indeed nice. We went here through walk-in only looking for a place to celebrate our special day, almost no waiting time on a holiday lunch time.

Food was overall okay, we liked their gambas, blackened salmon, their specialty pasta we ordered was a little bit too sweet for us. Both of the iced coffee we ordered could also be better, tastes watered down for us and didn’t have the kick we wanted. The banana spring rolls with the ice cream was a good dessert.

We were granted our request to transfer seats with a better view. Service was good especially by the younger staff, for the others no comment 😂…. Parking, I think would always be full around lunch time luckily by the time we went one was going out. Since it’s in tagaytay expect it to be elevated. Service charge is included on the bill I think 250 php (higher than other restaurants) but worth it, I guess.

Atmosphere was great! Stay outside on the second floor to get the best view, preferably best to visit in the afternoon. Probably one of the greatest locations for the view.

We didn't try much of the food since we had a different arrangement for our group.

However, the service was unbearably slow. Even getting the bill took 20 minutes, and they weren't even full despite having a lot of staff around. They were nice though, just a bit slow.

what i recommend:

crispy kare-kare - as for someone who is not a big fan of kare-kare, this one really hit the spot. a different take from the traditional one. the peanut sauce is savory yet not too overpowering

baby back ribs - the meat is tender and the barbecue sauce is very tasty

viewberry iced tea - this is so refreshing

the serving size is good for sharing so for its price, it's worth it.

i suggest to sit at their al fresco to enjoy the fresh breeze and the beautiful view of taal volcano. unfortunately for us, it was rainy that day and the fog's way too thick that we have no choice but to transfer seat inside 😅 nonetheless, i did enjoy my very quick stay at their al fresco. i would definitely visit again and maybe try their marcus bradley coffee next time.

One of the best things about this place is definitely the view of Taal, especially if you’re on the highest floor.

I’m not a bulalo fan but I can say that their classic bulalo is really one of a kind! The meat was so tasty and tender, you’ll crave rice right away!

We’re so full, so I wasn’t able to try their biningka and puto bumbong. Maybe next time?

We celebrated my mom’s 60th birthday here and it was amazing! There were about 25 of us and we sat out on the terrace. The staff, the service, the food, the vibes, and the view were all great!

I really enjoyed the food. The gourmet burger is really good along with their pasta.

I spent my birthday here with my fiance and we didn't regret every bit of it! We loved all the food and drinks that we ordered. We love the ambiance and the view of taal. ❤❤

Food is great. The Bulalo is the best. Each serving is good for 3 to 4 pax.

Breakfast meal is good for 2 pax, bit pricey but you will be satisfied with its generous serving.

Plus 1 for the very attentive crew.

One of our go-to restaurants in the Tagaytay area; food never disappoints as the cooking is good and consistent, service is gracious, has plenty of parking. Nice mix of Western and Filipino food. When Western foods are ordered, the food arrives properly by the course; Filipino food primarily Family style. Their wines by the glass have been pretty good and affordable. And of course, The View!--they have a nice vantage point not sullied yet by habitation.

There's indoor and alfresco dining.
If you prefer to dine inside, make sure to sit near the windows or you may also brave the cold in their outdoor dining area at the second floor for more tagaytay feels.

Dinning inside the interior is modern and sleek with colorful Mediterranean style which gives the place a very stylish vibe.

It offers Filipino classic dishes, pasta and sandwiches. They also had a lot of choices of drinks, from coffee to fruit shakes, and even alcoholic drinks and wines for those who want to warm up.

Overall this cafe is a must visit especially with the whole family and friends for a good picturesque view of taal.
