Girasol Tagaytay

Attended a friend’s wedding at another popular events place nearby and this is the nearest place to stay so I decided to check in at Girasol and this is one of the best bed and breakfast I went to. Located at a more quiet area along the highway, the place is super clean and the staff are very approachable and friendly. They made sure we are comfortable during our entire stay and accommodated us well. The rooms look better in person. We stayed at the Iris loft and wow the rooms are really clean, smells good and spacious. The beddings are hotel quality (honestly better than some hotels). Complete with towels and toiletries. The room has TV with Netflix and Youtube. The bathroom is clean. The main highlight is the breakfast which is definitely one of the best complimentary breakfasts we had. The Tapa is tender and perfectly cooked with the right flavor. My Mom got their bangus which is also good. Serving size is generous. The Great room (where we had our breakfast) has a cozy atmosphere. They also have a very comfortable Al Fresco area and almost every corner is perfect for pictures. Our stay was memorable. Price point (the B&B and Resto) is a bit higher compared to some places along tagaytay but I think it’s worth it considering the top-notch service and excellent breakfast (at par with 5-star hotels - may be better since honestly I’m not a fan of breakfast buffets). Probably the only drawback (for others) is that there is limited view of Taal (but I heard the view on their Sunflower suite is excellent)

The restaurant has cozy ambiance, and great food. I would definitely recommend the ginataang gulay with shrimp and the Girasol halo-halo. Our server Alvin was very attentive and even provided us with great food recos. Will definitely come back. Parking in front of the hotel is very convenient.

This whole week, I've been searching for a small venue with good food and good ambiance for an intimate celebration. Last night, I found this place through Facebook and we visited it this morning. We scheduled a food tasting on January, but I can't wait for it, so to take a glimpse and taste of their food, we ordered chicken quesadilla, and sausage and bacon pizza (which we forgot to take a photo). Both tasted great, the portions were very generous, and you can see that they were carefully crafted. We also checked their rooms and suites — including the restrooms, because it's one of the ways we judge a place. 😂 We can say that the whole place is cleaned and maintained well. I believe the interior is also professionally designed. Their staff — guard, waiters, receptionists, and the guy who showed us the rooms and function halls — are very accommodating and friendly. My observant eyes were so pleased even by the tiny details. We can't wait to go back! 👍🎉

Randomly opted to stop at this restaurant/B&B for a light meal, and was so glad we did. The food was topnotch!

The Spaghetti Bolognese was so good, I reckon it can hold its own against any pasta Italianni’s throws at it.

Same with the Salmon Pizza (which has a generous amount of caviar on top) - it can put any pizza from Italianni’s or Amici to shame. It’s just that good. However, if the salmon was smoked, the pizza might have even been better, good as it was already.

The Greek Salad was also good. We thought it didn’t come with enough dressing, but this is okay as you can ask for more dressing.

The Lemon Mint Fizz drink was also good, and quite refreshing.

Even the free kopek — which you can ask for refills — was delicious.

As for the staff: they were well trained. They knew the menu items and could explain the key ingredients. They were very friendly, warm, and chatty too. The service was quite efficient, with all our orders getting served under the 15-minute mark.

Lastly, they have enough parking slots for several vehicles, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

Overall, there are VERY few restaurants in Tagaytay that we feel are worth the drive to and from Metro Manila, but this is surely one of the very few.

This restaurant truly excels in providing exceptional customer service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like valued guests. The food was equally impressive, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. An excellent dining experience from start to finish!

Kudos to the staff for being so nice and friendly! The hotel was very clean + the breakfast was so good! 💓 Will definitely come back!

This is a hidden gem in Tagaytay! The food was flavorful, ample parking space, romantic ambiance and they have a saxophone player during Saturday nights. I highly recommend their rib eye steak, bulalo, ube cheesecake and whiskey sour! Service is excellent too! Will come back here again soon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was late lunchtime and we still searching for a place to eat. I am celebrating my late birthday and my brothers advance birthday. We are so very hungry and all the diners and restaurants in tagaytay were full. So we have decided to eat in a resto where we can park. And thats when we decided to eat here.

FOOD: Superb!!!!! their Garlic Soy Pata is a MUST try.. 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤. One order of this is good for 4 servings (for sharing) but sorry, for me it is good for only me 😂😂😂😂. The 6 chocolate muffins, i didn't have the chance to taste it. But on behalf of my nephew who eat all the 6 muffins, I would say it is to die for. I will rate the foods with 4 stars why???its because i want to come back and want to taste all thats in the menu 🤤🤤🤤🤤

all we want is just to eat because we are so hungry and that's it but the staff make it to another level as if we rented the whole room and have a birthday banquet. 😂😂😂 It's late lunch time and we are only three groups of customer there so all the staffs sing me and my brother a happy birthday with complimentary cakes which when I tasted it, its like i've travelled back in time where I'm eating a pastry made from ube and a sprinkle of coconut meat.. 🥺🥺🥺.

I will make it a hobby of coming back here. It is highly recommended for me if you want a aestethic gatherings, a luxurious style but affordable. This is where you go.

Probably our best dining experience ever as a family.
The food was good, especially the steak. It was really tender for the price of PHP700+.
The ambiance was very relaxing, and the jazz music completes the vibe.
Customer service was superb! Everyone was very kind and polite.
We went there on my brother's birthday with a store-bought cake. They offered to keep it chilled before serving for dessert. They even gave him a birthday cupcake on the house. They were also willing to sing "happy birthday", but declined as courtesy to the other guests. The bill includes a service charge, but we would have tipped more if we had cash.
We will definitely go back here.

Beautiful ambiance of the restaurant. Attentive service even if we were the first customers. Good food, is on the pricey side, but worth it

Location: it's farther from the busiest part of Tagaytay. Still very accessible but is more at the end of the line of shops, restaurants and touristy spots of Tagaytay so its more secluded.

Food: We had breakfast included in our stay and that was good! Hot choco was a bit expensive for such a small size but it did taste good. The pancakes were large so it was sufficient for a medium-sized person. We ordered milkshakes a night before and it was well-made and was good.

Room: The place is very well-styled and the room we had was clean and good for its price! We even had a nice little window with a back road with trees. It was amazing in the morning especially with fog. It was also very quiet which I needed.

Service: Staff was very accommodating and had us check in without a hitch. They were extra responsive.

Notes: Hope they had room service and has extended hours though. But still gave them 5-star because you can still use the facilities like we did with the outdoor seating at night because we wanted more nature-y vibes.

We went here for a quick merienda and everything was perfect! We loved the interior design of the place. So cozy and clean.

Place, food and staff are worth the travel. Girasol is a good find. Staff very courteous and ever ready to assist. Food esp. the blue cheese risotto EXCEPTIONAL and portions are really generous. Our room and the whole place are spic-n-span. Will definitely come back again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Everything that we ordered at the restaurant was top notch and service was great! We went for a weekday dinner and there was only 1 other table aside from ours. We're already planning our next trip to try the other menu items 😋
There's no view of Taal Lake but it's ok for people who frequently travel to Tagaytay or already have a house there.

Favorite breakfast restaurant in Tagaytay! Highly recommended eggs florentine. It’s tasty and the quality of the ingredients was superb. The ambiance is so relaxing. We are definitely coming back.

I have been around Tagaytay and stayed in several hotels. For now, this is the best hotel for me. So clean and neat! Love the beddings! My family had great time and we are so happy! We love also the loft unit ! Of course, the breakfast is also good! Highly recommended!

It was a great experience overall. I love the cleanliness of the entire place and how pleasant the ambiance is. It wasn't swamped when we get there which is good, we sort of have the restaurant just for ourselves. Our favourite was braised beef shank.

The place is cozy and conveniently located along the highway. Perfect for couples looking for a nice place to stay the night in Tagaytay. Food is excellent as it is prepared by a first class chef with international experience. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Even when there was a typhoon and the power went out, the place had a standby generator that ensured our stay was comfortable. Lots of parking as well so you won't have to worry about where to place your car.
