Such an amazing thing to see in real life. The staircase going to the top isn't too difficult to climb. There are also convenient stops along the way up to stop and chill if needed.

Beautiful view as always.
We went here when it's so windy. And cloudy too. Good thing for us coz it's not hot.
I like how they manage on getting people on top through shuttle bus or van. Depending on the number of people.
It's getting well managed now...
Good job Bohol!

beautiful landscape but beware this maps location because it'll bring you in a small village..

I mistakenly followed this and I ended up in a closed road with other people there in the same situation so on the way back I went to taytay hills.

someone should fix this..
anyway chocolate hills are crazy cool!

A must see in Bohol!! The landscape is remarkably beautiful even during non summer days. Definitely worth visiting for the view and there's also an ATV tour if you enjoy a little bit of adventure.

Beautiful landscape. Probably the only part worth the « countryside tour » that everybody is selling at Panglao. I recommend going there while in Bohol but not need to do the rest of the tour (tarsier and butterflies are basically two unethical zoo. The cruise is worth it too but that is the two only places I recommend on Bohol).

Visiting the famous Chocolate Hills was an absolute thrill, and it felt like another tick on my bucket list. The sight was truly remarkable, and the icing on the cake was the exhilarating ATV adventure, making this experience even more memorable!

Overall, great experience with an amazing view. Thought these were awesome! With the wind, it gave the chocolate hills a glossy hair like texture.

You go into a big car park hard to miss the signs, and park up. It’s 100PHP per person to get taken up to the view point. We didn’t wait long (5mins) before the next vehicle pulled up to take us up.

After a 5min drive up a hill, you get to the bottom of a view point. Take the stairs up which is a short walk to the viewing point.

You can get some fab pictures and the scenery was of the surrounding ring hill formations were amazing. Would recommend the visit while you are here in Bohol.

"Visiting the Chocolate Hills in Bohol was a surreal experience, in February this year. The iconic landscape, dotted with perfectly shaped mounds, truly resembled chocolate kisses under the sun. The viewpoint provided a breathtaking panorama, offering a unique and picturesque natural wonder. A must-see destination for nature enthusiasts and those seeking the enchanting beauty of Philippines.

Chocolate Hills in Bohol is a natural wonder with incredible views and well-developed tourist facilities. However, visitors should consider the seasonal appearance, potential crowds, and limited interaction options when planning their visit.

Pros of Chocolate Hills in Bohol:

Natural Wonder: Chocolate Hills is a unique geological formation, comprising thousands of cone-shaped hills that turn brown during the dry season, creating a stunning and iconic landscape.

Panoramic Views: Visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Chocolate Hills from several viewpoints, including the Chocolate Hills Complex, providing fantastic photo opportunities.

Tourist Facilities: The area around Chocolate Hills is well-developed for tourism, with amenities such as viewing decks, souvenir shops, and restaurants, ensuring a comfortable visit.

Adventure Opportunities: In addition to sightseeing, visitors can explore nearby attractions, such as adventure parks and wildlife sanctuaries, offering a range of outdoor activities.

Cons of Chocolate Hills in Bohol:

Weather-Dependent Appearance: The brown color of the hills is most prominent during the dry season, so visitors who come during the wet season may not see the characteristic "chocolate" hue.

Crowds: Chocolate Hills is a popular tourist destination, and it can get quite crowded, especially during peak travel times, potentially affecting the tranquility of the experience.

Limited Interaction: While the hills are a stunning natural attraction, there may be limited activities beyond sightseeing, which could be a drawback for those seeking more interactive experiences.

Accessibility: Getting to Chocolate Hills may require a bit of travel within Bohol, and visitors should be prepared for potentially challenging roads or transportation arrangements.

I've been on Chocolate Hills twice we went here with my mom to unwind when I was little & second when I was a teen. Chocolate hills was way too steep, you even have to climb to the stairs just to reach the climax. But at the top it's all windy, & relaxing, a moment to appreciate the beauty of nature. There's also a telescope where you can use to look on thd hills on a near way. It may be challenging to reach the top but at the end it's all worth it tho

Go here in the summer for it to be brown. During rainy days it will be green except when it is gloomy. I hope they take care of the hills. This part of bohol was underwater before. There is a sign with explanation on how the hills were formed millions of years ago.

I loved the view of the hills. There is a little walk with stairs to get there but it's worth it. Was really hot when we went there but not the season to see the hills brown. We got there with an organised tour. I definitely recommend the visit as is a place that you won't see often and all the trip that comes with it.

The Chocolate Hill is a sight to behold, boasting stunning beauty that requires a 15-minute climb to reach its summit. Riding an ATV Car to the base of the hill provides a picturesque journey, allowing you to soak in the breathtaking scenery along the way. It's a truly beautiful experience!

It takes a drive to arrive here plus a long stairs up & down. As long as you are mobile it should be a good laugh especially the way up to the viewing point. Te viewes are impressive & breathtaking. A good place to enjoy nature at its best and reflect. There is also a nice souvenir shop and a refreshment place if needed. In the area one can find a few other activities to do so you can easily sped half a day to a full day in the area. I believe there is some for of public transport in the area (not sure about the details) however having a driver with you or personal transformation definitely helps.

You can already see the hills even from the main road as well as up to the part where cars can go up to. There's quite a long walk up/down the stairs but the views are worth it.

P.s. The hills are only usually brown when it's summertime and the grass dries up. In other times, they're green as seen here. Nevertheless, a nice geographical sight to behold.

Great place to overlook the Chocolate Hills in a 360 degree view. There are a long set of stairs to walk up to the top, but there's a few stopping or resting spots if you need. If not, it's about a hundred steps that'll take about a minute or two to walk to the top.

Once at the top, there's 2 levels of viewing areas. You can freely walk around to see hills in all directions. I wanted to fly my drone for a better view, but they don't allow drones after 9am.

What an amazing site to behold! I've heard multiple explanations for these bizarre geological features. Climbing up one of these mounds to see all the others in the surrounding country is a breathtaking site. If you find yourself on the island of Bohol, you can't miss this!
