I have always loved lechon and Balai never failed to satisfy my cravings. I brought my relatives from manila a month or so ago and they were very happy with the food. The music in the place though is not supposed to be loud. consider keeping it down.

Convenient and easy access

The good:
Sinuglaw, Sizzling Pusit, Spicy Kangkong, Sweet Sour Fish
Their dishes with coconut milk (gata) were good. Best paired with their unli rice. The Sinuglaw was their best dish because of the tuna and lechon pairing.

The bad: Lechon, Sinigang na Lechon, Gambas
The gambas Shrimps were too small. Sadly the lechon was just reheated. Skin was still tasty and cripsy but the meat was chewy.
I'd give them a chance since when we went there it was the middle of the week.
