Not bad honestly, after all the smaller airports maybe my expectations were very low; but it was pretty easy and painless for us. Gentleman near the escalator told us which section our airline was in which was helpful and appreciated.
Didn’t take too long to bag drop with online check-in. Immigration and security were both a breeze.
New to me to be asked which airport I originally flew into weeks ago? But other than that everything was standard.

Lots of food options, lots of lounges. Wouldn’t hesitate to transit through here again personally.

The airport is located right in the heart of Manila, traffic on weekend evening is pretty tolerable (still 6-7 km need around 1 hour to reach the airport). The staff in check in area is pretty slow (I don't know why they directed us to counter with queue, when there's a lot of counter that didn't have any queue at all). The immigration staff is really nice and helpful. There's small mart in international departure area and a few restaurants. The problem is the restaurant mostly have really small seating area or even not providing any seating area (understandable though, because the size of the airport relatively small, compared to another international airport at another countries).

The last time I have visited this place was 2022. It was getting life again with people travelling, but this time it looks like it is back to pre pandemic days. Like any other airport in the world. Busy with life. Still liked the fact that if you know where to look, there are places you can have a bite and still find calm despite of the crowd you see in the airport.

I was pleasantly surprised by this airport. All the Christmas decorations were so elegant and gave me an amazing feeling. All the airport staff was super kind and welcoming and as a first interaction with the country it was an amazing experience.
If you want to get to the city I would recommend you the taxi or to download the Grab app, is a kind of Uber widely used in Philippines.

Fast and efficient @ Terminal 2
Was able to check in fast. The personnel at the check in counters were professional and friendly.

Security barely took a few mins. So overall this was a great experience.

There is one UNIQUE aspect to NAIA Terminal 3 arrivals. There are several REAL banks soon as you come out through Immigration and Customs to change money safely and at good commercial rates. Not only in the actual banks but also competing money changers. It is therefore one of the few International Airports where changing money in the airport on arrival is a MUST to get the best rates. As I said UNIQUE anywhere. Plus, a good transportation service for chauffer driven cars (or outside special airport taxis using meter). Also, a hotel desk to make instant bookings. Finally, a Jollibee (there are also many others!), which is a unique and famous Filipino fast-food outlet right there on arrival. No overpriced brand-name shops. Only plain but genuine local outlets.

I booked a ticket online with Air Asia through their app. The app is great, you can book just a flight or with a hotel and the price range would suit any pocket.
I did look at other local air lines and Air Asia was the best by far.
I have been on domestic flights with other airlines in the past. Not usually the best experience there was always a delay wit the flights. So when I arrived at Air Asias new terminal 2. I was totally amazed. Everything from check-in to boarding the plane was. Fine. There's a good selection of food stalls and cafes in the waiting area. Everything was immaculately clean. I won't be using any other airline for domestic flights in the future.

This airport is very busy but relatively easy to navigate. You can get a taxi bus or private car pick up right outside the main building. Immigration and customs are quite easy as long as you have your QR code filled out for entry to the Philippines.

No liquor at a airport here however one Japanese place has 15% sake which is nice. Otherwise it is beer. That is the way they roll over here. You can buy liquor at a market but no place to drink it. Don't serve people who think this is ok behavior.

I'm happy to see again the NAIA. It was amazing now that very fast to get the luggage and the immigration personnel now are so kind and approachable. The airport police is very kind. So I gave 5 ⭐

There is a super express system with a friendly environment .I forgot my important documents there and checked in,but within 10 minutes the lost and found department not only found this but also they provided good support to me which is rare in some other countries.
I am really grateful to Mr.Jon.

I wished there the best of luck.

This time was a good experience. Everyone at philippines Airlines was very courteous and helpful. Immigration was extremely nice and helpful. The airport was very clean and not overcrowded. Just prepare for the outside to be hot and humid. Vary organized, though.

Nice big modern and well designed airport. Easy flow of passengers from checkin to security and customs. There were 100s to process at around 8pm and the lines kept moving very well. All the staff and duty free stores were very nice. Didn’t buy anything but it was easy access from the lounges and gates.

The small airport has a big feel - terminal 3 for international flights and immigration was easy as was security. They have a great Star Alliance lounge! What more can I say - hope to be back in the Philippines again soon.

We arrived from Hong Kong and had a great experience in the airport. The signage was good, and it was really fast and efficient to get through immigration and customs. Everyone was friendly and helpful. There is plenty of ground transportation once you are ready to leave the airport.

I was impressed by the efficiency of immigration and customs, especially after having read strange reviews about arriving in Manila.

My experience was all positive and equal to arriving in Taipei or Tokyo.

Easy in, easy out to my next destination! If you fill out the eTravel form online before entering the country, they'll have it in the computer when you go through passport control and you don't have to fill out the hard copy form. Getting your baggage took awhile but customs was easy.
