Hertz Car Rental - NAIA Terminal 1

Pickup and drop off locations were confusing but nice friendly service.

When you go inside, there are only scammers from an unknown rental company that show you pictures from Hertz and act as if they are whatever company you were asking for.
They start by charging you double the price of other rental companies and the more often you say you want to leave, the closer they get to the price of the legit rental companies.
They try everything to not let you leave without renting a car.

To add my own personal experience, I tried contacting Hertz Philippines customer service over the phone after giving up at the terminal on getting my rental. The agent would never tell me where the off site Hertz location was, and promised to call me back but never did.

I was never able to obtain my Hertz rental, and ended up abandoning part of my vacation. I could not be more disappointed in Hertz Philippines.

On 5/19/2019 I booked my rental through AAA in the USA. My expectation was like in America give your DL and Credit Card. Sign the contract and pick-up your car. Bad experience when we arrived at Terminal-1 found the counter shared by local rentals found the Hertz/Avis sign but unattended the place was deserted car rental is not common in the Philippines? The local rental company was egger to rent me a car but I can’t figure out their insurance. So we left had breakfast and comeback after 2 hours. The guy at Avis was on the phone and wave at me told me that a driver from Hertz was waiting for me with my car to take me to Terminal-3 and do the paperwork. The whole thing could have been avoided if was told to go T-3. On my reservation voucher it indicated T-1

At T-3 counter the Hertz employee Jacqueline Sangcad provided a great service and explained the process. They don’t have a dedicated parking at NAIA Airport so you do the paperwork at T-3 counter and they show to your car inside the T-3 general parking and same when you return the car so allow time before your return flight.

No one at counter (24/7 operating hours???) - no response to 24h call center -
app functionality not working

Hertz hatte schon mal besseren Service. Das hier ist nur Traurig.
