The location and view is great. The place was clean and many activities to choose from. There's a live band and plenty of tables to sit. There were also plenty of people that will assist you. However when we there last 4/9 the service wasn't fast. We had to wait longer than expected.

But at least the food was great! We were there until 4PM only since that's the last scheduled trip back to the city.

We did a day trip at Paradise Island. We rode a ferry in the morning then went back to the city in the afternoon. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and courteous. The water was not that cold despite visiting in January. The food was also great. They have many activities available at the resort. The place is clean. You can see small fishes while swimming. There is a safety net present to avoid accidents. The only concern I had was with the rocky parts of the beach, so better to wear aqua shoes or sandals for protection.

If there is one resort in Samal Island that has maintained topnotch service, very respectful staff and good food for years, it is Paradise Island Park and Beach Resort.

I have been going to Paradise ever since the entrance fee was less than a hundred pesos (It is now 350/person as of 04-08-2024). Always, the staff are very welcoming, respectful and knowledgeable about what they offer--- food, aqua activities, recreational activities, pasalubong and where best to stay when you want to be alone or if you want to stay at the water's edge.

The food's price has gone up but the quality and taste has remained delicious and comforting. You also have a wide choice of dishes from breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner and cold drinks to quench the thirst. The paella is highly recommended. I go for the bangus dishes almost always.

The sea is still calm, clear and very clean during high tide. If you want the finest sand, swim or dip at the beach infront of the restaurant area. The farther you go away from the restaurant area, the coarser the sand is. But... a lot quieter. This is where you go when you want to be alone.

Lifeguards are on stand by and staff regularly sweep the sand, fish out leaves and other debris from the water. You are advised not to go beyond the floating barricades for your safety unless you are availing yourself of introductory diving lessons.

If you want to avoid the crowds, go on a weekday and early. Charter the boat going to the island if you do not want to share and wait for others. (Charter rate: Php350/way. Php25/person/way regular trip)

I have always recommended a day in Paradise for friends and visitors on tours of Davao (although Paradise belongs to Davao del Norte Province) because it really is a fast and convenient break from the hustle and bustle of the usual tour.

By now it is obvious that I do love Paradise Island Park and Beach Resort. It has been a place for fun, adventures, relaxation, healing, and comfort.

One of the best and most affordable tourist destinations in the South. Facilities are well maintained and our belongings are kept safe by the honest staff. Kudos to the owner!

Very nice and well-maintained place! The landscaping is very good and the houses are well-built. The outlets may need to be distributed to allow two-bed units equal access to power outlets. Very clean environment. Even the swimming areas are very well cleaned with appropriate number of lifeguards on duty. Very professional workers!

I love the Marian shrine. The bird songs from aviary provides a natural forest-like background.

Place is quite far from Catholic Masses during Sunday, nearest English Mass is PM at Virgen Dolorosa, few kms away. It will be nice if a chaplet is available for Catholic tourists.

Tho the place is crowded specially on its peak season and weekends. The place is clean, the staffs are approachable and mostly, you'll never get bored. This is highly recommended for families.

Very accessible place when you are in davao. Near airport. You can pass time and dine here while waiting for your flight. Just be mindful of your boarding time, especially if you don't know the shortcut going to the airport because of the traffic.

We were only on day tour and I haven't seen the rooms. Thus, the 4-star rating on the rooms. But overall, the price is just right for what the place can offer. 💯

For 29 years, Paradise Island Park&Resort has been a must-have for our visits in Davao. On weekends the resort is very busy, especially with locals. During weekdays you can enjoy the beautifully landscaped complex without the hustle and bustle. The complex is looked after and cared for, and in many details you can see that the owners care about providing a beautiful and safe environment for their guests. The food is also excellent.

The resort is a great place to enjoy the beach. Customers are to be ferried to the resort via boat ride (25 pesos per person). Entrance fee is 350 pesos.

The beachfront is beautiful, boasting fine white sand and aquamarine waters.

The food is great, though a bit pricey. They also serve desserts, coffee, and tropical fruits. There is a souvenir shop here.

Live band starts playing at 11 AM.

Amazing beach location! Warm waters, with the occasional cooler waves, great breakfast and lunch options (Filipino dishes), we had several seafood based orders. Plenty of fresh local fruits. If you need more than lounging there’s plenty to do; darts, billiards, foosball, kayaking and power boats during high tide after 2pm. There’s also an amazing bird sanctuary and two quiet gardens. Staff are polite and attentive. Beautiful panoramic views.

The cleanest resort i have ever been to!just be aware that guests are not allowed to bring any food except for water. Their menu prices are tripled compare to what you pay in the city. You have to pay the boat fare which is P50 return and P350 for entrance fee per person, all at the same cost for adults and children. If you are a senior citizen you will get the usual discount but you have to show your ID of course. Live band at 11am, they are good performers and loads of activities to offer.
This place is a money making machine but it’s understandable as you can spot an employee in every square inch of this place and they make sure that every corner is spotless and they are always there for your whim. So all
in all it’s a wonderful experience but will not rush to go back!

Cozy villas with good amenities. The restaurant has a great selection and large portions for little money. There are about 500 tables covered right on the beach, and an ocean net barrier allowing swimming in the ocean, with coral reefs beyond the barrier for divers (I found Nemo there!). There are kayaks and jet skis for rent and pedal paddle boats for children. There is also a massage facility. The staff are friendly and attentive. There is also security at all access points, and I had a safe and very comfortable feeling the whole time I stayed there. They also have a live band a few days a week!
