Club Samal Resort

Stayed here for two nights and although it was a nice place I didn’t feel it was up to the standard of the other rave reviews. Nice beach, nice pool, nice room and good food. There was mildew in my shower which seemed like it could be easily cleaned with a bleach solution or other cleaner. Overall it was a good trip and staff was friendly and helpful.

The resort was nice, clean rooms and quite big for 4 adults. The staff were very friendly and service was really good. Our room was on the poolside, has very good access especially if you have seniors with you. The food was quite good actually. The only downside is that the door on our room was cumbersome to lock and unlock. Otherwise I would recommend this resort for families.

We availed their daytour visit, and really had a great time! Their resort is daytour-friendly, from the free boat transfer, welcome drinks, complimentary lunch, shower room amenities, you get to enjoy your vacation hassle-free. I recommend to reserve in advance so they already have you on the list for the boat transfer and have your food prepared with a table already reserved to your name.

The pool is huge, and the water temperature is just right. The beach is also kept clean, however, you should already swim in the morning since it's already lowtide by noon. The overall aesthetic of the place is a sight to see, there are a lot of picture-taking spots.

Their complimentary lunch is a complete meal - soup, main dish, fruits/dessert, and juice. The food is delicious, and the serving is plenty and filling. They already have it served and ready to your table at your requested time.

What I like most is they have well-maintained and spacious shower rooms/area for the daytour guests to use, which is unlike other beach resorts. They also have a lot of lounge chairs and pool beds. So even if you did not book a room, you still get to enjoy such amenities.

Stayed last year in Samal resort friendly reception, security guys very helpful help with our bags and storage as we go on tour then back to our hotel. Great room middle room over looking pool. Drinks on tab pay at end which is good no need for wallet getting wet by the pool for example. Excellent food. Very romantic

We always comeback to this place because of the friendly staff and peaceful ambiance plus the rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff from the guard until the receptionist are very accommodating.

Yes, it might be a bit more expensive than other resorts but you're definitely getting more than what you paid for! Me and my family mostly have tried all the resorts in Samal and so far this was one of the best and relaxing place we always comeback to.

This was our second time going here but definitely not the last.♥

We had a day tour costing 980/pax. The staff was exceptional. They were kind and respectful, so are other guests. We had fun. But too bad it was low tide. I was not able to freely enjoy swimming but did enjoy seeing tiny creatures of the sea.

we will surely come back. It's a bit expensive but really worth it. great service and neat room.

unlike other resorts we tried, they will give you 3 choices of breakfast menu for an advance order after downpayment confirmation. But in our experience, we had a buffet style breakfast, a combo of filipino and continental style, from 6am to 10am.

menu for evening and lunch dining at restaurant, we had an average bill for 2 pax of 1,200. take note that their menu is good for 2 pax serving.

we booked a deluxe room for 2 days and 1 night for 8,400. 50% downpayment was needed upon booking.

We booked on Sunday to Monday, and on sunday evening they had a live band in their bar area. very chill and relaxing time.

we really like the beach, preferably swim during high tide after lunch until 6pm closing of beach.

The overall experience is 10/10.

The room is aesthetically designed with neutral colors.
They have unlimited bbq at night with live band playing. The bbq was soooo good!
The complimentary breakfast was delicious, kudos to the chef. Variety of food was offered as well.
I will recommend this to friends and family.

Place was really nice. Room was spacious, clean and very relaxing. Pool was great for hanging out and just dipping but you can also do laps (if there's not a lot of people swimming). Accommodates both kids and adult swimmers.

Service was OK, nothing mind blowing. But their food was good. Breakfast buffet was nothing special but again their food was cooked well.

Highly recommended place to spend a night or two when in Davao. They also offer a day trip.

Such a nice place, the view was breathtaking and not to mention the service, will definitely take my future family here.

We had a great time here at Club Samal. The people working here are very friendly and accomodating. Their foods are really good! Delicious and more than 1 servings. I think the price is worth it. They have a decent room as well. But my only complain is they don't provide a hairdryer as indicated in ths incluaions. Other than that, Overall, we're very satisfied.

I love staying at Club Samal. My kids enojoyed it so much. Friendly and accomodating staff. The poolside room is big and clean, linens were luxurious and comfortable, making relaxing in the room a sumptuous treat.

The food in the restaurant is divine, especially the pork sinigang perfect for the cold night stay there after dipping in the gorgeous pool.
It was also paired with live music so the experience is impeccable.

We will definitely gonna go back there again soon. 😍

Room: its clean and I love the view of the pool and the sea. We had a great time.Better to get the rooms on the second floor or the upper part as they gave great views of the place at night.

Food: All food I think is for 2-4 person, great food, nice service. Love all the vegetable dishes. They even converted our breakfast to buffet and it was really good.

They have band with great oldies songs at night while dinner at the beach.

The area is not crowded by the time we went there.

They have limited coastline but still ok. Cost wise I think its a bit pricey but still good.

All in all it was a great weekend!

Pool is amazing. And it’s great to have your kids swim and play in the kid’s pool.

Speed boat Ride 3k for 10 pax Roundtrip, Pool is clean but for me not so enjoyable coz it's a 4feet only😁 but it is nice to others. Beach is clean and well maintained, some guest complain about the Seagrass not knowing that the seagrass is the Vitamins of the Ocean besides not a long length seagrass just very short and felts like a carpet 😁😘 No need to wear aquashoes coz the shoreline and the beach itself has a very Powdery white sand. 🥰
